I have to agree; the photos of this car and that of the Jarama Bob" kept me inspired through some particularly frustrating times during the restoration of my car. Indeed, it took a lot of strength not to buy a set of reproduction SV wheels to go on mine - though that particular battle has not been won or lost yet!
Regards Andy
This is another one that inspired me; lovely understated "RatRod" look that should definitely NOT be improved! Again, SV wheels really suit the stance of the car.
Loads of photos on that one here:

Perfect, more time driving than polishing, even in the rain, no more worrying about where's the safest place to park and who's leaning against my concours Lamborghini. one of each would be the perfect pair. one to drive and one to polish. I think shabby chic would be the ideal description.Loads of photos on that one here:

GJK 854X when it was dark blue at Castle Combe probably early to mid 80s, just getting ready to go out on the track.
I remember seeing it at Goodwood and Castle Coombe back in the the day, little did i know then that i would be owning it some years later.Shame they didn't keep it this colour or better still left it in the original gold ,never did like the pearl yellow far to modern, think it must have been a Murcielago colour, kept on getting mistaken for a kit car ,I'm sure it was the colour. rat rod said:

I used to own Kermit for a while, sold it in about 2001 or 2002. It is super to see it in such nice condition and I really like the new colour. The owner before me was a professional car painter and wanted the Miura lime green but somehow got a slightly different hue..... rat rod said:

Hi Rat Rod, thank you so much! I'll have to buy a copy and have a read !
Sorry Fessia fancier , Hope i didn't get you to go to the newsagent especially to buy that copy of "Classic Car " as i've only just gotto read it with the Jarama restoration by lain Tyrrell and it's not your old car after all, but still very interesting.
Didn't notice it was L.H,D either, apparently bought in from Swittzerland for the restoration and was blue not kermit green.
looked the same shade of green as the one in P5Bnij photo's of your car at the NEC which also had been restored and put 2 and 2 together
Send me the invoice and i will give you a refund for the magazine .
