Can someone explain the difference .

Lamborghini dont differentiate the 400S , but the PH Countach Registry thread question tals about Series 2 and 3 .

Is this a recognised differentiation , and what does it mean ?

Footsoldier :
Series 1 has ‘bravo’ telephone dial wheels, small Warner instrument gauges. 50 made. “Low body”

Series 2, the best one...:-), has smooth dishes wheels, larger gauges, still low body. 105 made.

Series 3 (and thereafter) are first of the cars with taller cockpit, and raised suspension. 82 made

Lowbodys weren’t ‘a thing’ when cars were produced but there is a noticeable difference side by side.

Thank-you .

- Was this an official Lamborghini Classification ?

- What was the dates for the series 1 , 2 and 3 ( Thanks for the VIN Countach register ) ?

-Were the larger gauges Jaeger ?

- Series 3 -- taller cockpit ,because the roof was raised ?
Raised suspension , because the springs were higher ? or was it raised by someother mechanism ?
any other changes to the Series 3 please ?
