Comfort seats are rare tough there must only be a handful that don't have buckets. That's a very well priced car especially given it's a Spider.

There have been a few cars coming on at keen prices people wanting to make sure they sell before winter. I would imagine we'll see 120k 600s back over winter.

Must be able to pick up a pair of P1 seats for £10k and offset £2k selling old ones possibly.

Quite possibly but they still all drive the same and it's only cosmetics and the options list wasn't that extensive unless you went MSO
The options list was pretty vast and expensive and not many people want comfort seats that sit you high up in the cabin, I know for me it certainly was absolutely a priority to have P1 or Senna seats.

Just like hardly anyone would spec comfort seats if it was an option in a 765LT or 675LT.....

600 LT options could easily add 100k extra to the base price, I know as my cars list price was 277k, so nearly 100k up on base price and it only has a few MSO options on it:
Louvres - £9500
Full carbon side sills with MSO branding - £4500
MSO Volcano Red - Unsure as not a price list option, it is now £11,000, but dealer lead me to believe an MSO Heritage colour as it is called now used to be circa £6500.
MSO stitching on P1 seats - Unknown
MSO floor mats - Unknown
MSO - Exclusive stitching - Unknown
MSO Black Pack - £6500

My car does not have some of the really big ticket items like MSO Clubsport pack which was 20-30k or the MSO exposed carbon spoiler which was like another £4000 or so, in fairness on Volcano red the Black Pack compliments the colour better than exposed carbon weave in my opinion. smile

The 600 LT Spider I drove which had comfort seats was love at first sight as it was Helios Orange with all three carbon external packs which complimented Helios Orange well, but it had no louvres which started to kill the deal as I am a firm believe that all 600 LT's should have louvres but I do understand at a near £10,000 option I can see why many skipped it on the options list along with clubsport pack. It was when I got to the interior and the car had the comfort seats and your argument to they all drive the same, yes they do but drive one with comfort seats and then one with P1/Senna seats and the sensations and experience are somewhat different, the comforts sit you much higher and hide you from so much of the harmonics / NVH which I love about the 600. So for me they drove quite different and totally killed that car for me and any other which has comforts, I get why some people want them, particular in a Spider due to heating, but for me absolute no go and they always seem to impact the value of second hand cars considerably as does lack of louvres.

Still for someone who is not fussed its a great deal potentially. smile

These are really good points and spec wise you can definitely go crazy with personalisation with the MSO options and even to the extent of the MSO 1 765 spider but at some point you hit diminishing returns.

The main advantage of the 600LT is that they are very well equipped as standard unlike Porsche GT3s (991.2), where you have to pay a premium for basic extras like cruise control, reversing cameras, ceramic brakes, full LED headlights, exterior carbon, heated seats, interior carbon trim etc. So even a basic 600LT still looks phenomenal and has carbon inside and out with the top exit exhausts.

Regarding the seats, I've come to like them from my time in the 540 so I don't feel any of the negatives compared with the buckets and they work well as an all rounder for my own use case. I'll keep an eye on prices over the winter to see when I can justify making the jump

P1 buckets on eBay for £10k currently to be fair. If my 650s didn't have the carbon buckets I'd have jumped right onto those, certainly in the super series the buckets vs normal seats is a huge difference.

Edit: I did have to get the 'touring' conversion done though, the standard size P1 buckets are more racing driver body inspired, I could fit but with the bolster reshaping etc by D:Class they're a much more comfortable proposition smile

My P1 seats are standard and spot on for me as i consider myself small but athletic at 80Kg and 5'10" though I can see why the majority would be better off with the fat boy, sorry Touring size as they are snug and hold you in more so on the legs than shoulders which is strange as I have big shoulders and small legs.

Overall the P1s are best seats I've had in any of my supercars better than sennas and LWBs

Why so many much negative comments about comfort seats, if you like them then you buy the car, if not move on and find a car with seats to match your choice.
I purposely chose comfort seats because that’s what I liked, you might sit a few millimetres lower but I didn’t give a toss about that. I liked the heated seats in the winter with the top down and the adjustability that electric seats give you.
Same with a base spec, no visible carbon options, my cars had a busy life, the sills get a battering but I only need to paint them rather than a more specialist (expensive) repair option, same with front spoiler.
I bet I have as much fun driving my base spec car with crappy comfort seats as you doom mongers have in you better spec’d cars, your comments get very boring after a while.
Luckily were all different and have a choice.

Middle of November now and 570S Spiders are on AutoTrader at £90k Private and £95k in dealers, that's a good hit since September.

Prices are definitely on a decline.

Thorney, who sell cars in top condition, have hardly advertised a sale in two months.

Their prices are at the top end though.

The decline in the market is a bit of a perfect storm with the onset of winter and the traditional drop in supercar prices.

I keep a close eye on 600LT prices and those prices are actually slightly higher than this time last year but we will see 120k cars over winter certainly. I'm probably looking at selling mine next year but will wait until the bigger weather comes along with the inevitable bounce back in prices.

The outlook was just as bad last year with interest rates/utility bills and Ukraine occupying peoples thoughts. January was crazy busy for us then. Some of the 570 prices I'm seeing on the trade are looking like there will be either done winter bargains or very high margin sales next year for anyone willing to take a bit of a punt. 90 feels about where a spider should be isn't that about what they were pre Covid? Pre Covid is probably where the 2024 market will settle. Maybe a bit more.

I see this as the bottom of the market across the board, the usual winter dip/market decline.

I know a few people with some nice cars for sale and everyones view is the same, if they dont sell at the price they are now, they will take them off the market, use them and put them back on next spring with the usual spring/summer post winter increase.

I think thats also helped by (touch wood) interest rates stabilising/possible decreases in the near future. I certainly dont see the market in freefall, ive been watching all sorts for a while and they have been static for a couple of months.

There are a few exceptions out there with people desperate to get out because they have over borrowed and dont want the increased payments to refinance.

Im sure we all had the same chat last year, some people hoping for further drops and missing out and others jumping in and enjoying the car and buying at the right time.

Theres honestly not even be that much of a dip 'in general' for sports series. Good newer 570s are still there abouts. For sure there are some deals to be had off market/off autotrader and in car club groups where people want to get out

I bought 17 plate 16k miles 570s, and couldnt get anything for what I paid back in June. Ofc theres been more of a change vs tops of the market post covid.

When you have 911s still selling for 80k+ used, Macs at ~80k, even after the state we are in, are as safe as can be imo

Am tracking a few cars and the high spec/ nice colours are still selling albeit slowly and for 5-6k lower than originally advertised. The rest are pretty much sat still.

My top-end budget is £80k (trying to be strict with myself). I want a 570GT (prefer the exterior look, and want the glass roof). I want a car that has a McL or Thorney warranty. There's nothing on the market right now that will allow me that.

Yes, we have the seasonal dip but we also have high interest rates which should dampen the market. If we see any more falls will depend on how long the interest rates hold at >5%.

After two months on sale, I guess this guy would likely be open to an offer of £80k

Aha. That's what I get for setting my filter to 2017 and newer. Interesting...

Ah so that's yours. Nice car.

I've got a little issue of selling my Elise first and that was my plan in February. So if it's still around then I'll be in touch smile
