Ah, you were in the silver car. Completely forgot you had the red rims so didn't realise it was you too. I came over a bit late and got a half day so was in a bit of a hurry to stick some laps in so didn't get to speak much to those people I didn't already recognise. Always glad to see a fellow 12c as we were a bit lonely yesterday!

Did you get the spacers fitted in the end?

Pirelli guy didn't say very much once i told him the standard corsas were pretty hopeless :-D well apart from saying the new corsa should be a v good tyre. Pirelli were selling trofeos at a super price though but without spacers not even I would be willing to risk it having seen some rear diffusors marked up in the 12c on trofeos previously.
Hi, no didn't fit spacers in the end as i just left the inner arches as they were, figured they need replacing so will address problem at the end of the year, will know tomorrow if any further damage done when I swap back to road tyres.
Was a great day and no complaints regarding cup2.

Hi, nice to see my thread rejuvenated

They can only cancel warranty if they can prove that the non standard part or parts were the cause of the failure.

i.e if the car has an after market exhaust, you can't not fix the iris system for example, however if the cats burn out or motor blows up due to back pressure issues then your in trouble.

As i said somewhere above if I were doing again I would go one size under.
You can probably go on Michelin website and see exact sizes of cup 2's
If your anywhere near kent you can try one of my wheels on your car.
you need to pick up a set of secondhand wheels for track use and fit cups or similar.
