Something I noticed too - the 12C on PZeros is brilliant in the wet - It also gives what seems to be a much bigger rooster tail than other cars. These cars are going to have their day, they are soooo good!

A Strad is the perfect partner for a 12C in the garage. So different and both so brilliant.

Have no problem with noise in mine with the sports exhaust - it is seriously loud (not quite Strad loud) with that rear window open. The noise is different to a Ferrari too. Ferrari is more tuneful angry wasp, the 12C is like a highly irritated bear!

I forgot you have a Strad too mate!! Perfect stable mates! I would love to hear a 12C with a sports exhaust, whereabouts are you?

Solihull way. The Mac sounds good with the sports exhaust - especially surprising considering it's a turbo unit.

Just beware in the wet, despite of popular conception it will bite! I came from the V10 AWD R8 which to be fair was rock solid. The 12C has caught me twice, check out the thread on ESC/traction on Mclarenlife for a car that's touted as too tame, it's not :-) Mine's a keeper, love it!

Cannock to Solihull in 20 minutes?

I'm Solihull born & bred so I know my way around however 20 minutes? That I would love to see!!!

The 12C looks awesome with the body kit. Stunning car.

Slightly off topic - there is a 360CS advertised in the July issue of MotorSport for a mere £180k.......

Saw my first 650S at Sytner's West Mids the other day (is TL anyone on here?), looked so much better in the flesh from normal angles than the PR photos, especially the side air intakes. I always stop to have an ogle at the 12C's, really do think they're terrific.

Wasn't for sale, it was at their service centre - looked like it had been hammered a bit to wear it in nicely! Brilliant! It was black with what I presume is stealth pack applied to everything, I'm not usually a fan of all black but it did look excellent and a proper weapon. Want one!

hiya, im loving it mate its now my everyday car. im selling the california which is an awesome motor but it wont get driven anymore. i should have put some details of my buying experience on here previously but it goes something like this.

saw the car online on monday with tom hartley for £125k but hesitated, tue it was sold to a dealer. friday morning i noticed it was up for sale again with a dealer (in leeds) at a premium. rang him up 11am, paid for the car 1230pm by bank transfer, shot down to leeds at 1pm, drove the car back at 330pm, arrived home around 6pm. didnt tell the wife anything, shes not arsed, she didnt even notice it until the next morning.

love it.

Joseph, what mileage does it have? Presume no warranty?
If you don't mind me asking did you pay the 125k or manage to get it down at all?
Congrats btw.

It's got mclaren warranty, 4800 miles and I paid £129k, 4 days earlier I could have got it for 124k. Such is life.

You work only 2 minutes away from me, I do enjoy watching it rumble past. The different front on it make a big difference, looks awesome. The Cali also looked great, I was never a fan but in the whte it also looked great!
