Surprised you aren't happy with the dealers though, I've had a fantastic experience with both Manchester and London. There's a new showroom and service centre opening in Ascot as part of McLaren London I think. At least the service team are heading from Sevenoaks to Ascot, I'm not sure of the sales side.

my point further raised, mclaren Manchester telling me the "P13" update has been applied?! i could list all sorts but wont on a forum, they probably mean well and can only be as good as the staff they hire.

Apparently McLaren might be calling two completely different things the "P13"; one is definitely the new model car, the other some software reference? Marketing hey!

Mines done, includes IRIS updates and wing.

The wing now comes up far more than it did before.

Great for blanking out those blue lights.

The P13 update refers to the Platform 13 software update, not to be confused with the forthcoming P13 car.... I can see why people get confused.

Are they really worse than the Aston dealers
I'm contemplating a 650S spider but really need to feel the servicing agent is up to the job.
I'd probably use either Birmingham or Manchester

I've had very good service from Birmingham.
Just booked in for my second year service with them.

I guess if they aren't being supported by McLaren headquarters , then they can't give you the 100% service.
I did have some early issues with software and phone connection but they did try 110% to get it sorted.

Nothing but praise for McLaren Birmingham, both on the sales and servicing front.

Surprised by the negative comments in this regard, as it is certainly not the consensus view of UK owners

ditto Macca B'ham are great, mines just had the upgrade too, booked in for first service 1st Sept.

Have to say car feels stronger now on boost, oh boy do I love this car!
