hopefully you'll now leave the ferrari and lamborghini sections here in peace smile
Sorry to disappoint you Andrew but I still have a foot in more than 1 camp but presumably you won't be frequenting the McLaren section as a non qualifier biggrin:

not the best, nor unbiased, article ever... Sounds like someone has missed his P1 slot and is trying to jump the queue for the next one....

That's the only thing so far that makes me a little hesitant, the highly specced cars seem to be shedding an awful lot of money in the early stages.
Those will be dealer specced cars being taken into inventory. They are imo your best bet of getting a good price as cars are still being stacked up in the dealers and unfortunately it seems the lessons of overproduction of the 12c have been unheeded i am afraid to say. Just look at the latest Mclaren press release, 1648 cars recorded as sold ie out of the factory but into dealers where they may or may not have end customers, of which 248 cars are P1s. ~1400 650s is imo way too many cars to be produced a year.

Yeah Funny that as I only had a trade enquiry on it today. I'm not going to mention how much more they wanted to pay me for it either

Long may it stay unsellable biggrin:

The orange one has been for sale for ages at 148k, but I assume a red one must be worth at least double that. Have you driven it recently ?

Fantastic cars that are a credible alternative to a 458, drove a 650S & was blown away. Couldn't afford the 60k more than my 12c but may succumb eventually!

It's not really the Daily Mail...it's Chris Evans.

What counts is what you feel and why you buy a car, not what other people think or what they would buy if they were you....
Although sometime you have to wonder what the real motivation is....

Dont worry, give it another year and it will only be an extra £20k - £30k on top of your 12C laugh

Nothing beats a NA engine - the Speciale is King, and will hold its value very well (as a result)

Really ?
There are a lot more than 5 orange LP570-4's out there but I don't know of any Edizione Tecnica's if that's where you are coming from. Rosso Mars was ONLY an Edizione Tecnica colour so not to be confused with the base model laugh

Of course the gap will narrow over time and the new 650S enters the used car market.

Personally I see 12C values remaining strong and these will always prop up 650S.

There is actually a slight glut of high mileage 650S ex press cars and demo's on the market right now which is dictating used prices but once they have been moved on I can see 650S prices firming up again going into Spring.

Like 458 sits £30k above 12C, I see 650S sitting above 458 by maybe £10k dependent on what effect 458T has on 458 prices
