Law says if you own a supercar you don't need a front number plate
Do they have a list of every car that is defined as a supercar somewhere then? It would certainly solve many an arguement on here if they did. swagmeister said:
Why would you think driving a McLaren makes you above the law ? Its a legal requirement to display a front number plate which we ALL have to abide by.

Don't forget drama, 2 seater and history
I think it was 0-60 in under 4 seconds. The police find it quite difficult to enforce for 911s because it depends on the model.

I think in Germany the police might react a little worse than in the UK given that they only flash from the front, so I suggest to put it back on if going to the continent
Don't get why people run without a front plate where it isn't allowed (a stick on I can see so it does not catch), but none seems to just be vanity (which is really even more sad when talking about a car...) or avoiding speed cameras on purpose - both can't be in held high regard by the public or the police imo

Two of my cars don't have front plates. One because it came new without a front plate (458 Spider) and I simply cant be arsed to work out how to put one on and the other's front plate was destroyed by a suicidal (and bloody enormous) hare at Lotus's test circuit in Hethel (Exige Sport 350) and again, I haven't got my arse into gear to buy a new plate mount.Don't get why people run without a front plate where it isn't allowed (a stick on I can see so it does not catch), but none seems to just be vanity (which is really even more sad when talking about a car...) or avoiding speed cameras on purpose - both can't be in held high regard by the public or the police imo
After I pulled the hare out of the front grill I discovered it had left an eyeball behind...lovely.
