Just to add further, there is a lot made out of the 'width' of the Sports Series cars, and whilst they are dimensionally wider than some, they are hardly huge. The photo below was taken on a run last year, my 570 parked between a couple of Astons. Even allowing for a little perspective, It's really not that much wider than the Vantage in real life.

My 570 is almost exactly the same width as my Mercedes CLS. Its no Lotus Elise, and I avoid the worst road width restrictors (Marlow bridge for example) to save my wheels, but otherwise I've had no issues. Not been stuck trying to get in/out of a carpark yet.

Marlow Bridge eek

I went over their last year having not been for many years not realising they had those wheel curbing width restrictors you can't see. Got away with it (M5) with just some rubber rubbing. OMG never again unless I'm on a push bike or driving a hire car.

I am almost a year with a 570S and it has been brilliant. It can be a DD, a canyon carver or a track weapon. I've done all and it has never had a hiccup.

I like the look of the GT, but I wanted the firmer suspension of the S. I believe that the 'S' suspension is now available on the GT.

Go drive them. You will love it!

'S' suspension AND Carbon Ceramic brakes, definitely available on the GT.

Great cars, all of 'em! beer

S is now the orphan child. Go GT with the sports bits for the best looking most practical car or Spider if you want the hairdresser look.

Not really.

It's no more practical.....the hatch only opens one way and you'll scratch your paint constantly lifting your luggage over the car all the time.

The sound deadening in the GT makes it very quiet.

The mapping and throttle response of the S is significantly more aggressive especially at lower speeds.

Almost no one will order a new GT and then add CCB's and sport suspension.....defeats the object of each car.

The rear deck is nice and the glass roof would have been nice if it was a clear glass panoramic roof but it's dark tinted so you don't really notice it's glass.

If you want an Aston alternative, GT cruiser...….for Euro trips.....GT all day long....for sure.

But if you want a more visceral, aggressive, louder, more urgent experience then it's an S you want.....

from 2018, the GT comes standard with Carbon ceramic brakes, so its much closer to the S now. I do not know how much the cost of speccing the sports suspension is though
