Not a supercar, but my 992 lives on the drive, pending new garage (due early 2022). If it was a rag-top, I'd be a little more cautious, its got a ceramic coat and I rarely clean it - don't want to wear the ceramic coat out.... or at least that's my excuse!
Do you not find that even though it's soft it still wears/dulls the paint? One I had a while back did and it was very soft inside? I suppose with mine it's mostly PPF so less likely to get damaged!
That's the best way (992) covers, IME covers damage paint no matter how careful, unless you wash and dry the car every time. Which in itself isn't good. Best to leave it exposed unless it's a convertible of course.
