Why not? You could order the 10 Spoke Superlight on a 675LT from the factory?

Or are those the wrong offset?

I don't think these are superlights made for 675lt.

Thank you for taking the time to do a search.

Well said Paul. Custom exhaust would seriously devalue a 675lt IMHO. I certainly wouldn't look at one.
More fool you, it makes the car sound the way it should of been from factory and way better for it if you like decent sound as part of the supercar experience.
Easily reversible as well so does not devalue the car one bit
Literally bolt on and bolt off some high grade race spec 200 cel race cats that are an upgrade on factory, ask Thorney
Best money you could ever spend on a LT IMHO but what do I know lol.
Not as much as wannabee owners apparently.
Each to their own but if you cant speak from actual experience maybe its best to not make yourself look ill informed

Speaking as an owner of a 675 spider, I have at no point thought I need to waste money on an exhaust that makes the car noisier; it sounds absolutely fantastic as it is.

As a footnote regards Thorney, ask a double glazing salesman if you need double glazing, what do you think his reply shall be?

Crikey you are very well informed. Are you a Thorney rep? There's no way you can be that confident without being a 675lt owner.

P.S. It's "should have been". I'll keep drilling it until we get there mate.

Agree it sounds good out of the box for a turbocharged car when its popping and banging at 5000 rpm hard acceleration.
Where it lacks IMHO is lower down driving at sensible speeds.
High quality 200 cell race cats add extra oomph to the sound low down without being too loud or droney.
There is also better throttle response and less turbo lag when combined with BMC air filters.
TBH its not outrageously loud just OEM + and better IMHO.
Looks completely stock and undetectable and easily reversible.

Will never sound like a NA V10 lamorghini Performante though

Did it throw a CEL on your car?

I will leave my completely stock but know that my m5 required a tune alongside downpipes to not have a CEL.

Ref wheels, I'd live with the car for a bit and see how you feel about the rims as currently fitted. Am sure a set of Mc oem 5 or 10 spoke wheels will pop up at some point.
Regards the previous post on exhaust, is quite loud as standard, again would live with it and see how you get on. Plus is spider so can drop rear window for increased volume if wished.

There is a set of 10 spokes on ebay for £10k but that seems crazy to me.
About right - I've just priced set new and they are £13k with out tyres.

Not the same offset and bolt seat as 675
They can be made to fit with spacers and different bolts
But then why would you wink

AB listed a Volcano Orange 675 LT spider on Friday at £260k and it was sold yesterday.
It was less than 30 minutes wink
As soon as it popped up on my feed I spoke to AB and put a deposit on it.
One of only 3 VO spiders in the UK and very close to spec I would have ordered new - so it was a no brainer.
My 2nd 675LT and back in a McLaren after visits to Lotus, Porsche and Ferrari frown

Yup...seen that it was actually 28 mins after AB listed it!

Fantastic purchase and an amazing spec.

Previously had a VO car and it is such an amazing colour.

Well done you!

Congrats on a beautiful car
Prices must be on the rise at ,£260k.
I know cars are spec and mileage sensitive and best examples fetch a premium but thats strong money.

Seems some real momentum to this rise in 675LT prices now and with few examples around a return to list price seems entirely possible not that the hefty +£100k premiums will ever return IMHO.

Makes the £220k cars look like bargains even if they are funny low spec examples

Whilst values aren't a topic that I give much thought about, I do think that both the Burton Blue and VO car could easily of each been advertised at £25+k more and still sold quickly.

A trickle of the very small amount of 675 spiders are appearing on the market due to a 765spider order materialising.

That was the reason I acquired mines last year although it was a coupe that arrived, and I know the original owner of mines whom bought from new regrets it and has requested first refusal if I sell.

I declined a 765spider allocation, but the near identical spec i had configured has appeared at Romans for sale.

It looks fantastic but not £450k of fantastic.

The 675 is just a prettier design, all the power / drama you need, and i feel shall always be viewed as peak McLaren.

£200K or 120% more for a 765LT makes no sense to me.
Thats a huge gap that a lot of original 675LT owners might find difficult to bridge or justify even if money is almost no object

Thank You
I would have paid more for that example if it had race seats. I've since found a set to fit.
It's almost exactly what I would have speced new and I regret selling my first 675LT, so it was a no brainer.
It's not about the money, more about the experiences and memories.
Really looking forward to some Euro Hoon trips. smile

I have a spare set of the electric comfort seats that I assumed I would swap out for the P1 buckets that are fitted.

Still hasn't happened as the buckets are just so amazingly comfy.

My car was originally spec'd with the comfort seats and comfort entry, but the previous owner did exactly what you have done.

When are you collecting?
