What an absolutely stunning car..Wise choice to get a Spyder on the 675 due to the carbon tub..I'm assuming its the one with only 150 Miles which makes it an even better buy.LordOfTheManor said:

That colour is stunning.
"Brave" I think is the word i intended to buy a new boxster gts 4.0 in the green launch colour but dealer advising you would need to be mad to, ultimately the colour was half the appeal of the car...
The 720s is one of the best cars I've ever driven.
Feels like it is years ahead of F and Lambo.
You just have to buy a second hand one, one that is 12 months old.
Then you have avoided the big depreciation.
Top spec 720s are out there for 190K down from 290K!
Or 2 year old lesser spec for 160K
Then enjoy!!

I also had a green Porsche and you are right the colour sold it !
This is a keeper, as I've said, had green before and loved it !
This is Napier green - someone told me it was the launch colour for the spider
I was originally going for white, but haven't come across one, nice enough to buy

I would never buy a new car again But someone has to !
That is because McLaren are now limiting the supply of new cars to the UK, copying what Porsche do.
That way they are hoping that the prices will stay higher on second hand cars.
Something they should have done from the start.
So a 2018 or even better a facelift 2019 720s could be a good buy.
The 720s should be a more expensive car than the F or Lambo as they have a lot more going for them, from the carbon tub all the way through to active aero.

I had the problem with the 720S that when someone came around with a Ferrari or Lambo,
their cars always looked a little more buck for the money
I know that driving them proved otherwise but the 720S felt so light almost dare I say it kit like (don't kick me to death!)
I would have had the 765LT but my spec took it to around £350k and after losing nearly 100k on the 720S, not looking to do it again for a while
Mclaren fix it, so their cars hold some value and I'll buy again

Interesting. My perception is exactly the opposite. Especially the bull - feels like more show than go - not what I’m looking for. their cars always looked a little more buck for the money

Reminds me about interesting comments from Frank Stephenson about how his Mac designs were purely for performance, like an animal with no excess on them. Contrastingly, he was required to adjust the 430 to make it look more bulbous (ok just kidding - he said “voluptuous”).
