I would leave it 100% stock as its a fantastic and unique spec as it is. Its a great buy but its so easy to spoil the deal by adding after market parts to it. Just get it paint corrected before adding PPF if it hasn't already got it.
You are 100% right Taffy but the wheels are a must for me. I hope a set of 10 spokes oem turn up but it's looking doubtful.

Not on a 675.......
Why not? You could order the 10 Spoke Ultra Light on a 675LT from the factory?

Or are those the wrong offset?
I don't think these are superlights made for 675lt.

Thank you for taking the time to do a search.

Speaking as an owner of a 675 spider, I have at no point thought I need to waste money on an exhaust that makes the car noisier; it sounds absolutely fantastic as it is.

As a footnote regards Thorney, ask a double glazing salesman if you need double glazing, what do you think his reply shall be?
scratchchin
Agree it sounds good out of the box for a turbocharged car when its popping and banging at 5000 rpm hard acceleration.
Where it lacks IMHO is lower down driving at sensible speeds.
High quality 200 cell race cats add extra oomph to the sound low down without being too loud or droney.
There is also better throttle response and less turbo lag when combined with BMC air filters.
TBH its not outrageously loud just OEM + and better IMHO.
Looks completely stock and undetectable and easily reversible.

Will never sound like a NA V10 lamorghini Performante though
Did it throw a CEL on your car?

I will leave my completely stock but know that my m5 required a tune alongside downpipes to not have a CEL.

12.5k miles in my 600LT since January 2020 and no Euro trips allowed so would have been a lot higher. Can't imagine not using it when I feel like it, keeping the mileage low is a total waste of great cars.

Here's to putting plenty of miles on the 675, I love that interior too, wheels not so much.
Please share your comparisons when you have had enough time behind the wheel of the 675.

Enjoy in good health buddy

Would you sell yours if they did get back to list?
Having gone from £100k over List Price to £100k under they were obviously under valued.
Some owners might be tempted to cash in and
If you bought used at the £200k low point I would imagine a £100k profit would be tempting for a lot of oeners
At £330k new list price I cant think of anything that gets close so what would you replace it with
765 maybe?

The small trickle of 765 spiders appearing for sale are around £450k+ though.

Its design is a little over complicated for myself as apposed to the timeless Stephenson models.
765LT is obviously an awesome car and currently twice the price.
If 675LT went up and 765LT came down im sure it would be a contender for some but it would still be over £100k+ and like you I prefer 675LT looks.

Never liked the 720S looks but with familiarity its grown on me marginally but still agree its very fussy and has wacky hyper car appearance.

Only other car I can think of is a Ferrari Pista spider but again £400k and a lot more common
I meant 765 coupe which is right around that price point.

Also re interior - everything is personal and super subjective but maybe consider changing the steering wheel / seat centers to black - it will then be a little like a CGT with a Black and Ascot brown interior - I think for very little expense this might really help and if not you can keep going - None of my business but I thought this might help.

Nice idea and thanks for taking the time to share it.

Right now I am going to enjoy the car and quite likely add a new set of wheels.

Congrats on your purchase - will be interesting to see how the steering feel / chassis of the 992 GT3 (with its front end wishbones, etc) compares to the 675 LT, which IMHO, has the best steering / driver feel of any road car I’ve owned.

Enjoy smile
Thank you very much.

I am a long standing Porsche GT guy and that 4.0 with comfort seats (for my back and so I can possibly add rear seats down the line), a 6 speed and a jcr exhaust will be tough to beat.

A top down 675lt might just be the perfect stable mate with a very different driving experience.

Any word on yours yet?

As our resident Porsche expert, need some advice.

Ordering a 992 turbo s cab in the next week or so; what would you say are must haves?

Looking like a year Dec delivery so should be a 992.2 version.
Collecting next week, likely Thursday or Friday. Super excited.

Congrats on the Turbo S. I haven't driven this generation but understand it is more a GT product than ever.l, which is a great thing.

Options wise I am not an expert for this specific model, but generally ceramics, front lift and sports exhaust. Going very options heavy isn't good for resale but some of the gadgetry on it is really cool.

Enjoy her in good health.

Are you coming up here to collect?

I am around 25mins away.
Work permitting, yes. I was hoping to stay a night in St Andrews and then drive down.

Well good people, I collected her today. Her original owner was a real pleasure to deal with and really took care of her. Craig and Graham from Autolounge were also amazing in arranging scrape plates for her and a few other things.

I must admit I was nervous not having seen her before I bought her. I was ready to order new wheels and was even considering redoing the whole interior down the line.

Love at first sight! clap

The wheels don't photo well but look awesome in the flesh. No need at all to change them.

The interior is also lovely. Very elegant and suits the exterior colour which by the way is what I would have ordered from the factory... Wow and I haven't even seen her under bright sunlight yet.

It is a truly beautiful spec to my eyes. Not changing a thing.

The front bumper with the carbon front spoiler looks so aggressive and amazing. Just love it!

The exhaust is unreal. Dropped the rear window and the turbo spooling + gun shots on shifts.... wow! Made me feel like warp speed was initiated.

She has Trofeo Rs which seemed to struggle to get warm and sticky on the short drives today.

So these are my initial impressions. I like a feel like a kid again and a car hasn't done that to me in a long long time.

A few questions please:
When I select media there isn't an option for Bluetooth, just line-in.

Where is the line in? Is it a phone plug, optical or USB?

Are there 2 types of meridian audio systems for the 675? Is meridian the upgraded option?

Can Bluetooth be added or is it very costly?

Are the Trofeo Rs considered the best tire for the car?

Thank you all for the amazing advice and all the kind help.

500 miles back to London over the next 3 days so will report back. beer

Congratulations, I know Graham at Autolounge very well, great guy to deal with, a real 675LT expert.

You should have blutooth but need to manually pair your phone, there is a tutorial here:-

www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4sEzLmXPUM

The radio is so dire that if you want radio my top tip is to use internet radio on your phone and blutooth it to the car.

There is a USB inside the cubby hole between the seats, make sure you use a small child to access it. There is also a 12V socket to the front of the cupholders facing the dashboard, use a small child, mirrors and set aside 30 minutes to find it.

Meridian is the upgrade, you can tell if you have the big wart on the top of the dash. I have standard audio, about the only option I don't have.

If you are driving on the road ditch the Trofeo's immediately. IMHO (others disagree) they are actually lethal, there is no grip in colder weather or any sort of dampness. On a warm dry day they are awesome, but we don't have too many of those! I have been using MPS4S for the last 8k miles and they have been superb. Can use my car in all weather and has 95% of the Trofeo grip in the warm.

You need to unlock the cars real performance by going into ESP DYN mode. For this make sure you are at least in sport / sport and then a short press the esc button so ESC DYN comes up in the instrument display. Without this mode the car is not only subject to traction control but is also torque limited. With ESC DYN activated you are not torque limited and the acceleration is unhinged! The difference is very obvious. You also get a safety net of traction control just in case but it will not intervene unless it senses a 'situation'. Only use this in the dry with Trofeo's.

On very bumpy roads you will ground out, being in sport (H) will harden the suspension and reduce this. Also in sport (P) you will get cracks on upshifts and down shifts. Works great at around 5k rpm + with a medium throttle, when you get used to it you can be whip cracking everywhere.

There are some great roads from Scotland, I recommend driving on the A68 over Carter Bar then the A686 over Alston towards the lake district. Both those roads will be sublime in the 675LT.

Have fun looking forward to some pics en-route.
Thank you so much! Very helpful!

I am staying in the Lake District tonight and will check out those roads for sure. Super excited!

Wow!

Bluetooth working and that driving route was amazing! Thank you so much for sharing that and if you know of any nice roads from the Lake Dostrict to the Cotswalds pls let me know.

I am sitting in the hotel in the Lake District and am about to enjoy a nice whiskey and reflect on what a glorious day.

I decided against ESC DYN today as I wanted to get comfortable with the car. I tried all the different suspension and power train settings.

Tomorrow I will try ESC DYN.

A glorious day and this car is truly exceptional. Thanks again for the help and for sharing those amazing roads.

I would recommend the A689 to Stanhope and then the B6278 and follow to Barnard Castle for an eye test. Could maybe do a bit of North Yorkshire Dales to Reeth then tank Road to Layburn.

From there either head over to A1 to go South or bit more of Dales, Masham, Ripon A1 or of time other way to Hawes, Rbble Head Settle.

Enjoy
Thank you for that. Perfect timing 😊

Brilliant, so glad you tried it. The difference is astonishing! Its amazing how many owners simply don't know about it. I am certain the dealers are not allowed to demo it or show it. You spend ages thinking your car is super fast and then you realise its got another secret layer of performance on top smile
Is this when it shows the orange icon on the dash which looks like traction control off?

Big congratulations Brnt :-))

Great to read your post and sense the epic excitement are feeling after collection and first drive !

Ref the tyres, as other have said the PS4S are good are all round tyre inc. v capable in rain.

If using sport / sport + esc dyn mode would get tyres up-to 25deg min or ideally 30 deg before giving it large. If powertrain mode in track + esc dyn then tyres need to be toasty hot in dry and have your wits about you cos can get lively if get on peddle hard out of corners.

Have a great drive home tomorrow and enjoy v much :-))
Thank you very much.

May I ask please esc dyn mode is when it shows the orange icon on the dash? Does ot say anything else?

Want to be sure as it looks like traction control off on other cars.

Thanks again.
