Interesting stuff about George Harrison's car
That was actually a very interesting post - thanks. I've heard about "George Harrison's F1" before, but never knew why this one would be more special than any other F1. What a remarkable story!

I saw a silver F1 driving through Chobham this morning, with a trade plate on the dash board.

When a car comes in for servicing they remove or cover the owner's plate and apply their own temporarily. There are a large number of the cars being prepped for an upcoming event at the moment. Busy times in Woking.

It would be best if we cover that in a couple of weeks when its over. Number of people attempting to attend without invitation is growing already.

Would have loved to participate, but I won't be there. I will get to enjoy the digital spoils along with everyone else.

Owner has tweeted pics. All registered now and being used (even in the rain!)

Have to say the colour is really growing on me.

It's just refreshing to see an F1 in a colour other than silver to be fair.

I always liked #021 in Singapore, wish someone would retrieve it and use it like this guy seemingly will use #028.

Yes & if you head to GG & the Flemke thread the owner took another PH'r for a ride in the F1 this morning.

Beefmeister has posted some great photo's of the F1 as well.

Looks simply sublime casually parked up with the doors open. Have to admit to being ever so slightly (quite a lot actually) jealous........

Hehe.

Was parked next to one of these in a petrol station just off the Sunbury Jnct of the M3. My son was going wow! look at that cool car and at first I had no idea what it was.

Gun metal grey with trade plates.

ETA Sorry chaps, shows how much I know. Looking at Google images it must of been a 12C.

I note from DVLA's website, that George Harrison's F1 is currently taxed. So presumedy someone is currently driving the car, and it is not just mothballed.
I saw it on the road about 3 years ago, so it does get used to some extent.

I saw this car being driven, in the rain, on the M25 this morning, in convoy with a Lamborghini, I'd never actually seen one on the road before. Seen an f1 in the Park Lane show room all those years ago. I reckon he was checking out my Golf Diesel...

Followed it for some miles before I had to turn off for the airport. What a car!

Presumably on their way to the annual Wilton House Classic and Supercar event near Salisbury. Maximum respect for attending in what must have been appalling conditions today.
