There are two 765 for sale and can be had for £320k. Factor in the spider delivers and depreciation and the chip shortage getting resolved and I say 270k to 250k very possible in 12 to 18 months.
Where have you seen said these £320k 765’s? Edited by BrntRubber on Saturday 5th March 16:53
Cheapest is £335k and thats at a random independent which makes you wonder why but they wouldn’t reduce any further

Once you realise the 765 is just a far quicker 720, the novelty may well wear off.
Quicker does not equal better.
LT treatment is a tried and known approach. Once you realise the 765 is just a far quicker 720, the novelty may well wear off.
Quicker does not equal better.
We saw it when they developed the 650 into the 675 and then again for the 570 into the 600.
What makes you think Mclaren have not added that LT rawness, touch, dynamism, driver magic etc to the 765? The 765 is not just as you put it a far quicker version of the 720. Just as the 675 isn’t just a quicker version of the 650.
I found the 765 to be just too quick for road use, which is how I use my cars; hence why I declined a coupe and spider slot.
Likewise with the 720; I only found it enjoyable to drive when going too fast, very clinical and just not special enough when pottering about.
The 720 has been produced since 2017 and whilst its an amazing car, I still am 50 / 50 on the aesthetics.
It makes me think of how I have never gelled to the looks of a Ferrari 360; the F355 predecessor was just so pretty and still is to this day, whereas the 360 still looks meh.
Everyone's different though and those are just my thoughts.

Any idea how long they expect these chip shortages are expected to continue?
My gt3 touring got delayed over a year and is now finally at Emden So excited for her and am adding the rear seats behind my 18 ways for my boys.

The chip shortage is here for a lot longer than you think and EVs use 10 x as many as ICE cars putting even more pressure on supply

Well i'm not surprised, I had another mate who wanted to go and look and another mate who just took delivery of the orange 675LT coupe toaday from AB. They seem to be selling fast when available!
Hi Paul . I’m the buyer of the car .AB kindly held the car till I could get there on Saturday morning. Having dealt with Alastair over the last few years both buying and selling I had no hesitation in buying from him knowing the car will be 100% when it’s delivered to me . I had been looking for the right car for three months and this one ticked all the boxes ! Look forward to catch up soon . Chris

You are going to love it.
As you said; AB shall ensure the car is 100% and as good as the day it left the factory, with the piece of mind of being supplied with the exact same warranty offered from McLaren.
As he was near 500 miles away, i bought blind and was actually 2 or so weeks after I had paid for it before my daughter and I managed to get down and collect.
A fantastic buying experience from start to finish, although he still keeps in touch, so not quite 'finish'!
Cannot recommend him enough.

You have bagged a bargain with that example and got in just at the right time.
Very few nice ones come to market these days similar to 458 Speciales
Speciales have jumped back up to £350k from £280k 2 years ago plus i enjoy my open top motoring and having had a 12C spider before always said i would come back into the fold at some stage. Very few nice ones come to market these days similar to 458 Speciales
Bargain .. who really knows but I'm going to enjoy driving it for sure so that is all I need from the ownership experience !

Congratulations Chris, a stunning car. I think it even has my Trofeo's on it that I sold to the previous owner (also Chris) when I replaced with MPS4S. You are going to enjoy it a lot. What have you come from or is this an additional purchase?
Cheers,
Paul
Hi Paul ... Chris C here ... this is an addition to the garage .. just need to move things around a bit to make the space but it joins a 718 spyder and 992 targa with some other cars expected this year .. subject to what is going on in this world currently of course.
