Seems strange it took so long to sell when everyone loves the colour ??
I think we ( me certainly) was guilty of believing some internet reviews of the company rather trusting my own judgment certainly.I prob looked at that advert 30/40 times. The OP has had a great buying experience, pleased for him, it’s a stunning car.I really couldn’t say a bad word for THJ.
They have set up a 6 month warranty for the car with a £200 a hour labour limit and £10k limit per claim with unlimited claims and its covers everything, not just named components etc.
Outside of a Certified Pre-Owned McLaren warranty, I’d say that’s all I could ask for when buying from an independent.
They gave me the option to extend it but I’m gonna see how I get on in 6 months.

Stunning car you have there that colour really suits the lines of the 12c and much prefer these wheels to the alternative I have seen on other cars.Good to see you are using it for what it was intended for and getting some miles on it perfect weather for it too,That warranty you have sounds good and very comprehensive and nice to know you have peace of mind for the next months. It does look such a well kept example I'd probably go against the grain and if nothing cropped up in the next months would give the car regular use and take a punt on not getting a warranty on it.
this LT is not dissimilar in colour. MSO Psycho Purple. I've seen it in the flesh and the pictures don't really do it justice. It really pops in the sun.

Looks superb…. One of the nicest I’ve seen.
Been following 12c and general McLaren threads for a few years now and seems that a 8yr old one has no more niggles than when they were 1-2 yr old. Maybe even less as the any factory niggles may have been sorted/ironed out over the years and the car you have now after 6-8years of use is fully sorted and pretty rock solid!
Hope this isn’t derailing the thread any.
I’m maybe being Naive/hopeful that one day I may be able to stretch to one. (Trying to persuade myself ha)
If you base your budget on the overall cost of ownership then I think that 12Cs and 650s are likely to be a very reasonable proposition now.Been following 12c and general McLaren threads for a few years now and seems that a 8yr old one has no more niggles than when they were 1-2 yr old. Prices seem to be holding steady or even rising a bit, so the biggest cost, depreciation, is not looking too terrible.
