Bonkers and be interesting to see if it does go for that (I wouldn't pay that personally)...If it does - just goes to prove what a childish and spoilt song and dance we have had from flemke over his money making approach to LT coupe purchase...

Great - they accept credit cards!twoblacklines said:
Same garage has 2 458 SA's up for £1m each, guess this shows the level of price inflation on their forecourt. Must be me but the LT picture looks LHD?

What a load of bks, have you not read what he's written about this debacle? I did read what he wrote, sure there were comments on exclusivity but it was heavily peppered with impact to investment potential bollix... Which clearly (and was actually a no brainer) hasn't materialised (unless he thought he could flip it for more than £500K )

His "money making approach" you say? Pretty sure that making money on it wasn't the driving factor behind buying the car. McLaren lied, he understandably felt aggrieved at that having been a very loyal customer to their brand and race team. It's as simple as that really. At least to me.

Didn't say it was his main motivation and completely agree he's aggrieved but he did make a song and dance about 'impact to investment' due to the increase in units (albeit these are non coupe's) which hasn't materialised...

If you were the only person advertising a thing for sale, would that thing be worth whatever you felt like asking for it? Markets don't quite work like that.Didn't say it was his main motivation and completely agree he's aggrieved but he did make a song and dance about 'impact to investment' due to the increase in units (albeit these are non coupe's) which hasn't materialised...
This same clown of a dealer is advertising 458SAs and a P1 for hundreds of thousands above their market value.
Probably not a good idea to take everything a car dealer says at face value.
I thought we had all got past this coupe/spider debate a while ago, but you seem to be obsessed with it, notwithstanding that it appears to have nothing to do with you.

Simply pointing out the inevitably of this outcome... and if you don't like people chipping in don't air your laundry in public! As I said, if those of us who might be affected by it and, in fairness, know a lot more about it than you do have agreed to agree or disagree and move on, it is not obvious why you persist in banging your drum from the Peanut Gallery.
