Yes, exactly the same as Senna. And sitting in them in Senna and 765LT feels identical, and right.

Getting in and out of 600LT with Senna seats is noticeably more awkward.

The LMP style doors on Senna and 765LT make the difference in ingress/egress, and the more open cabin suits them better too.

I found them very comfortable, although standard 720S seats are of course more comfortable. To make sure I'd really need to sit in them for hours though, in a moving car.
In our case I think the seats will end up being a major point of debate. Like our 675LT Spider, the 765LT Spider will likely see a lot more usage on road trips than track so the standard seats might be the more comfortable option (even if I personally would prefer the Senna seats).

I actually don’t think the Senna type seats are that uncomfortable, although the P1 seats in my Track Pack are maybe better on a journey but not in the looks department. In any event the key is getting the correct width size as the standard are pretty snug for anyone of a manly size, touring are far better

If for road trip usage, I actually think the 720S is the far better car. The 765LT will be more of an occasion to drive, but has more NVH.

Regarding the weights discussion above, I can confirm that the 80kg saving is DIN weights, and compares the standard (not lightest) versions of 720S and 765LT. Both models can of course be optioned further to make them lighter (or heavier).

You may be able to confirm that someone told you this but the facts seem to be somewhat at odds.....The DIN weight quoted for the 720S is 1419kg and it is the LIGHTEST version, inculdes all the 720S lightweight options. The "standard version" would have cast wheels and sports seats (not buckets) and would weight over 1460kg DIN....
If you don't believe me put your 720 on the scales (with full tank) and you will find that you're way above the 1419kg

Checkout the one tested by C&D 1434kg and that has buckets 10 spokes and all carbon body options.

I can only say that that is not what McLaren HQ told me, face to face, at a senior level. i.e. that DIN weight of 720S (and 765LT) as stated is not the lightest, but is the standard car. I then separately verified that statement with an senior engineer at McLaren HQ.

I believe that far more than internet arguments/opinions.

Particularly as if it were not so, it would be a material misstatement of a defined measurement to European standards.

Now as regards dry weight, absolutely anything is possible. The weights could be comparing apples to oranges, and any spec combinations, including lightest possible (which is likely). Because there is no standard defining calculation of dry weight.

The way weight is declared has changed recently due to regulation, same happened when 718 GT4 got launched, isn’t this the cause of discrepancy? 720S got lauched many yrs ago with old rules.

Nice to see Morethancars now praising and “begging” for a 765LT smile

t.
Think you'll find the "defined measurement" allows for some chicanery around what is and is not an optional extra vs standard, like I said weigh your own car full of fuel and let me know how close to 1419kg you're not.

Here you go, not internet argument/opinions, real life

People have a tendency to actually weigh their cars I hope you realize as per tb993tt above. The sportauto supertest car also weighed in at around 1430kg and that car has buckets.

Dry weight between McLaren's own cars shouldn't be comparing apples to oranges as funnily enough it's cars from the same company. Dry for one car is going to mean the same in another and if they don't that's probably a bit of an issue.
