It seems even harder getting first time insurance at the moment. Tried Mannings but they said they won't insure a McLaren until I've owned it for a year! I'll update this thread when (or if!) I find a suitable quote for a first time Mac owner (Macanneer?).

That's almost unbelievable. But of course after that first year they'd be shocked if you didn't give them a chance at insuring it.

With every insurance company i have called they have ALL asked for history of performance vehicles and examples.
