Definitely going down the proper plate myself, and bending it. So interesting to hear about the blowtorch.
Why don't you like your sticker version? I might well just put this bent one back on after the PPF , I will photo later if I get chance
Apparently a Heat gun works also which is likely safer, but I had no issues

Nearly run in ! PPF soon.
Plus a top tip if you want to use a normal number plate on the front.
It was about to fall off both side sticky pads had pulled off due to flat thick plastic plate.
So it needed to be bent, my heat gun was elsewhere, so what could i use?
Kitchen Blow torch , the type you use with creme brulee
hold it vertical heat at mid point not too close with flame, but closer than you think
no melting etc, on front side.
New sticky pads and its pretty good, may take a pic in due course.
Still doing a vinyl one , but didn't want this one to fly off and smash into car.
Also forgot to say top blokes at Ascot Chris and Steve easy to deal with and understood me from up North"
Perhaps i send them these instructions so they can bend em like beckham before they put them on brand new motors
Great advice. Mine popped off on one side after the first week...Plus a top tip if you want to use a normal number plate on the front.

Hello BoshlyI’m guessing you like “Acoustic Speakers” sorry for taking the pee a tad on the owners fb page
Yep obsessed with ATC mainly active loudspeakers
struggling with fbook a little
Ok a little update
Done 800 miles now so about to actually use the full pedal travel soon.
Also joined the club and going on my 1st meet in June
Had PPF done this week , front , wings, bottom doors etc ,
Check out the Number plate, reflective white and as my graphics man said it looked
crap on top of PPF (a V shape remains as the PPF has to split for bumper shape)
He cut out the exact shape from the PPF thus its perfectly flush all round
I think it looks mint !
