Classic coming from a Ferrari owner ! Really, I have just attended a 3 day event on the south coast and people including Ferrari and Lamborghini owners loved my Mclaren 650S. In fact I have never had so many positive comments, and as an added bonus it's the best car I have ever driven or owned. The word is spreading on how good Mclaren's are, and the tide will start to turn.
Are you RamboLambo in disguise or just my brother.Whatever you are spot on.
Compared to my 430 scuderia and Lamborghini Performante ET the McLaren gets by far the most positive reaction from the general public. Its not the loudest or lairiest but it ouzzzes class and exclusivity like nothing else.
The perception is the brand is above the Italians I guess due to rarity and mystique

Well McLarens are certainly rare down here in the South. I've lived here for 4 years and have only ever spotted one 12C the entire time, and that was just two weeks ago!
Certainly no 650's, 675's, P1's, F1's and obviously no 570/540's. Perhaps because the nearest McDealer is 65 miles away might have something to do with it?
As for Lambos, Fezzas, Aston's, Porkers, Jags, Lotus, historics, they're common as muck.
Opps now you have done it !Certainly no 650's, 675's, P1's, F1's and obviously no 570/540's. Perhaps because the nearest McDealer is 65 miles away might have something to do with it?

I'm 200 miles from closest McLaren dealer and have seen 3 in 5 years.
To be fair I'm also 200 miles away from a Lambo dealer and probably only seen half a dozen of those as well but being 5 miles from a Ferrari dealer I have seen loads of them coming and going.
At the end of the day they are all great cars and you pays your money and makes your choice.
I happen to be happy with mine and stuff anyone else
