So who's getting an i3?

My dealer told me today that my car's due in to him Friday, although I went past on my way home after they'd closed and coincidentally there's one there that's exactly my spec (colour, wheels, interior, lights, PDC f&r, no sunroof etc), ready for delivery. I wonder...giving himself more time for the PDI & paperwork maybe? Let's see what he says tomorrow!
Excuse the cruddy pic:
Jammy git!Excuse the cruddy pic:
Seems the traffic data in the i3 is provided by 'Inrix' http://www.pocket-lint.com/news/126275-inrix-s-int...

Blimey, gimme a chance!
All went to plan this morning after a frustrating week seeing it sitting there doing nothing, and not knowing why. Anyway, after some more paperwork & a quick briefing by one of their geniuses, I was off, and it's superb. Lovely smooth & peaceful driving, plenty of go (and stop with the regenerative braking), it's excellent all round. Although it must be one of the first RHD cars off the production line (the sales manager also said it was the first delivery in the country), it seems to be well screwed together, no creaks or rattles, and the Suite interior looks very luxurious, even with the Eco-friendly recycled dashboard mullarkey. I'd still be worried about a light interior looking grubby inside a month.
The only niggle I had was both rear doors showing as not being closed on the dash even though they were. I had to give them a good slam to register as being shut. Might need a slight adjustment next time I'm passing the dealer.
The driving assistant seems a bit temperamental, but this could be user error. I've only tried it in town, and generally it works well, keeping its distance from the car ahead up to the cruise speed you've set; but a couple of times it lost track of the car in front, particularly if they were offset a little from the centre of my car, and would've rear-ended them without me braking. The system also switched itself off seemingly randomly, so the car suddenly decelerates unexpectedly, but I'm sure there'll be a reason if I look it up in the manual. Haven't had a chance yet though, I was under instructions to come on here & do a write up!
I've taken some mates & relations out this morning, and all naturally are blown away by the silence & speed of it. It does look a bit weird but I'm really warming to it now I can see it in the flesh. The Andesite silver paint does look a bit OAP beige in sunlight, but then I am getting on a bit so maybe that's appropriate.
More later once I've sussed out more stuff - streetview & parallel parking are next on the list!
T'ta
Actually I don't want any more info. It's making me even more impatient! All went to plan this morning after a frustrating week seeing it sitting there doing nothing, and not knowing why.
