There seems to be a lot of heavy discounts on some EVs right now. Example, Corsa E new at dealers for £20k. My works SS still has them at a list price of £32k. Be interested to see what the monthly sacrifice would be with it at the same price as dealers
Have you got a link to the Corsa E @ £20k?I’d be interested in that

With the cheapest used example (without insurance classification) £12k at 3+ years and 36k miles it should be very cheap new car motoring for a few years you would think. Decent kit, decent range, 2ppm fuel costs on the right tariff etc.Looks a good deal, quite tempting

I had a video walk around earlier, not the best, but a decent range etc
Probably better than an MG4?, not sure, but it’s 5k cheaper.
It’s the outgoing model of course, there is a facelift out soon, if not already.
If that matters

Great deal but I assume the deals vary depending on the deal your employer has with Tusker? My wife's company use Tusker but the prices are much more expensive. Id3 is £600 a month!

Out of interest, following you submitting the order for your vehicle, how long did it take the dealership to get in touch with you?
Thanks
Depends what you've ordered!Thanks
Also the salary sacrifice approval can be slow, Tusker took like 10 days to process my order.
My first order, Skoda (Enyaq) were so uninterested and dealer so unhelpful after weeks that I just cancelled the whole thing. Found Nissan (Ariya) to be much more cheerful and responsive.
We've just had an internal mail :
"Octopus has extended its salary sacrifice car scheme to include nearly new cars (under 18 months), please see the attached slides for details.
These cars include in the price:-
Maintenance & MOT
Tyre replacement
AA Breakdown
Insurance
A free home charger
"
not checked the numbers but surely has to be a bargain too ?

I've had a couple of quotes from their nearly new team, I wasn't impressed to be honest. Big differences between cars, Tesla was about £20 less than new, Polestar was £200 less. There probably will be a good deal there if you aren't fussy about which car you get.

So the iX3 I ordered which was due in January is actually arriving next week. Suits me as the e208 the OH had through her employer went back last week. Looking forward to commuting in an EV again.
That's great news.I decided not to go ahead with the iX1 in the end, just thought £560 per month was a little too much.
Will keep an eye out on Octopus to see if they have any decent deals though

Looking for a bit of advice...
I've just spotted on our salary sacrifice Tusker site a large stock of Nissan Leaves coming in late December/ January.
They are coming in at £300 ish reduction from salary in top spec Tekna
Is this a good deal or am I missing something? All other electric cars are well into the £500s a month
