The cooling off period gives you the option to return the vehicle in the first couple of weeks as well, but you are not getting it until then…..
Can't say I'm surprised tbh - having to bear the cost of delivery and collection on a £100 a month lease is bad enough but a terminated one you see nothing for is even worse.

Also the two week cooling off period is in the commitment to purchase, you don't need to actually take delivery in that time. If there's a problem with the product it's a warranty issue.

Although for £100 pm I imagine the car could arrive with a missing wheel and a dog turd curled up on the drivers seat and you'd still make do smile

It would be good to follow the delivery ownership of what must be this year’s equivalent to the Dacia Duster Throbber thread….

£100 pm is a free car that would be so handy for stuff too… please post a readers drives thread

Was the duster ever so cheap? It can't have been, you have to put fuel in it.

These Maxus are a 'minus' cost car for anyone that can replace or stop using an ICE daily as a result.

Fill your boots chaps, this sort of commercial fk up doesn't happen very often smile

I really wish I’d caught one of these deals in time. There is a 7kw council charger across the road from me, and it’s free.

I ordered mine through CVL but still not heard anything since placing the order. I did chase for an update but didn’t hear back. Don’t want to keep chasing as doubt they can do much but I just wanted a delivery date or at least an idea.

In regards to the 14 day cooling off period, is it something you can waiver so you can get the vehicle sooner?

I expect their policy is to hold the car for that period in order to prevent double transport costs and car use if you were to change your mind.

Got my reg and finance docs signed today (through OVS) with a free upgrade to metallic orange.

Can anyone recommend where to look for insurance? Got an acceptable quote through Admiral but wondering if im missing a trick anywhere with it being van insurance

Loads seem to be suggesting that Admiral is cheapest but it wasn’t for me, about £670 with them I think. I just put my despairs into Go Comparr and got £530 (Me and the wife as additional driver). Age 53, 10 years+ NCB, in the South.

The consideration I am having just now is re the classification. Its probably registered as a commercial and will be restricted speed limits I think.........even for a private lease. Bit of a faff I think.

The only speed limit to watch for is 60 max on dual carriageways that aren't motorways - where you can do 70 the same as everyone else.

You're also supposed to do 50 on single carriageway NSL roads but most drivers of commercial vehicles probably don't even know that, let alone adhere to it.

I shouldn’t worry, they can only do 70 anyway, doubt you’ll get much attention.

Edit - Dual cab pick ups are classed the same as cars for speed limits

Quad cab trucks are only treated the same as cars if they weight less than 2,040Kg. I think the Maxus may tip the scales slightly over that hehe
