Although attractive have you looked at the pension implications of the NHS salary sacrifice scheme? If you go down this route long term it can have a significant detrimental impact on your pension.

Interestingly the MG website is still scattered with pictures of it with stuff on the roof:

That’s just another display of how amateur they really are though.

Had a nose round one of these yesterday and it was surprising decent!

My friend has had enough of his jag breaking down so swapped it in for a short range (220m) MG5 SW, he paid just under 20K for it and for £350 he got 4 years of servicing and road side assistance and they chucked in a type 2 cable for £100. It was pre-registered and had 10 miles on it.

The ride is ok, if just cruising around and taking it easy. It does get a bouncy if you try and drive fast but I guess that's not really the market they are targetting. The boot was a pretty decent size as well so it's fairly practical, but there is a big lip on the boot.

The interior is where the costs have been cut with hard plastic surfaces. The controls all feel pretty robust though and it comes with Android auto and Apple car play as standard so the infotainment works as you'd hope.

If you're looking for a budget EV then they are definately worth looking at.
