Where are you guys getting your home chargers installed from?
The two I have narrowed down to are Pod Point and Chargemaster.
I am planning to move home within a year and Pod Point will charge £550 to relocate a charger.
I'm not sure about Chargemaster.
I'm also thinking a tethered charge point as the LEAF is type 2 , can't be bothered to plug the cable in every time!
I’m going to have the pod point tethered charger installed for £379. I will charge mine every night and I can’t be bothered messing with the charging cable The two I have narrowed down to are Pod Point and Chargemaster.

I've ordered a n-connect via my limited company and will be replacing our current 24kwh leaf.
Ive had a 24kw for 4 years - great car! Just looking to replace it with a new EV via my wifes ltd company. Did you have any issues with getting the finance (Nissan direct I presume?) We are trying to get an audi e-tron with lex-autolease who are asking for the moon on a stick and wont accept a personal guarantee. Did you have the option on a personal guarantee with Nissan? Might have to change plan if Lex annoyingly comes back negative.....Order approved today for a new Leaf Tekna from Willow. Flame Red.
Just waiting to hear on lead-in for car.
Will be my new daily. Hopefully it does the expected 120 miles during the next few months of winter.
Anyone recommend the most cost effective wall charging unit? Don't want to pay over the £350 mark which seems the norm for a few after government grant.

I think chargemaster is £300 non tethered, I think £50 is probably worth it for the convenience though. Just waiting to hear on lead-in for car.

Very pleased with my Zappi. Does lots of clever stuff.
Zappi doesn't do the installation, you need to find the installer. Can you give us details of costs?
Off the top of my head the unit was about £650, but some of it is claimed back from the govt. I've got it linked to a myenergi hub so I can control it with my phone, and it's on a timer to take advantage of Octopus Go, as well as mopping-up any spare energy from panels on the roof.
I’ve to a salary sacrifice quote valid for another week or so.
N connects, 10k pa in White
£298 incl insurance maintenance and tyres.
I’ve requested to try a demo (we have the option with our provider) but they’ve just come back to me today to say I can have 2 days in end of Feb so I might go check out at local dealership.
The Nissan brochure mentions it comes with a type 2 cable and also a 3 pin granny plug
I already have a 1st gen Zappi chargepoint at home. Cost about £280 in Nov 2018 installed by EcoPlug.
As you’re all getting a Leaf, consider getting a charger that can do V2G. The Leaf is compatible which is also included in official brochure so shouldn’t void warranty but it’s still being trialled by some energy networks. Could be widespread within your 2 year time frame.

And sell the electricity in your car back to the grid at peak price times and replace it at off-peak.

Swap to an E7 energy plan and run your house from the spare energy in your car during the morning and evening, and then recharge very cheaply in the middle of the night.

Mmmm? And sell the electricity in your car back to the grid at peak price times and replace it at off-peak.
Could do that here in Scotland where the local authority charging points are free. Leave the car charging while I'm at work and take the free electricity home at night to cook my dinner on!

It's currently free in Greater Manchester too but emailing the EV delivery lead for GM yesterday he confirmed they are looking to start charging a nominal cost soon.
