Then hoping to do UK > France > Belgium > Germany > Denmark > Sweden > Norway.....and back... in November/December.
We are doing this in July. Still haven't decide to drive Denmark->Norway, or overnight ferry it from Copenhagen to Oslo.Than its how far north to go, Trondheim is probably as far as we'll go, as we are travelling with a 5 year old. I recon the total round trip distance is going be around 3500 miles, zero worries about charging.
Very rough itinerary so far, will probably AirB&B it the whole way. We'll have 6 people in the car which actually makes booking nice looking accommodation quite easy as the budget is decent, but Norway looks really cheap. £150/night for a 4 bedroom villa in the middle of the summer holidays with views like this!!! Honestly cannot wait .

Disappointingly slow then. What a shame. Bjorn does a 1000km challenge and it’s as good as a Tesla model 3 long range (within 5 mins in slightly colder weather) to cover that range. The thing to note is the temperature on that chart, it hurts efficiency and charge speed so when looking at the etron or model x you need to factor that they’re at a much more friendly time of the year

That is like a trip I've been mentally planning for a while now, you're encouraging me to bump it up the holiday queue!
Can I ask, why are you taking the ferry rather than the bridge from Denmark?
The final route isn't set, wife and daughter like ferries, however, the overnight from Oslo <-> Copenhagen isn't exactly cheap. Can I ask, why are you taking the ferry rather than the bridge from Denmark?
The is a fast Catamaran that take you from the tip of Demark to Norway in 2hrs, which might work out better for exploring the southern Fjords before going up west coast and than heading into Oslo.

Leaf owner here.
Long trips a Toyota with a conventional engine. Love the thing.
For everything else there is the Leaf. 60k miles on it now. Love it just as much and it owes me nothing.
Same here. There are times when I wish the Leaf had slightly longer range, but if a journey's going to be of a decent length and mostly motorway then I'd always choose my E Class anyway. I think 90% of my day-to-day driving is now electric and although the Leaf has the driving dynamics of a potato truck, I love the silence, smoothness and the fact that it's not polluting my streets.Long trips a Toyota with a conventional engine. In 5 years (or so) when ranges have sneaked up to a reliable 400 miles across the board from the 300-ish of the current crop then I'll probably retire both the cars and go fully BEV.
