Now 750 miles in and my home charger installation (take 2) is tomorrow - first time around the installer took a 2 minute look before informing me I needed an isolator... A call to OVO and a two week week wait later I now have an isolator
The drawn out charger installation isn't all bad though, as I collected my free 13A lead late last week, being able to charge at home is a revelation. And now, with the temperature above 0 the car's range is 10 miles higher and the 22kW public charging is that little bit quicker.

OK I have r-link working and our android phones bluetooth connected to the car. Is there an android app I can install? It's all very confusing.
Next trip tomorrow from Welwyn to the O2, with a charge at Ikea Tottenham as my Source London card has not arrived 10 days after ordering it. If Ikea is not working I can charge at Potters Bar on the way back, and if that isn't working there is always a tow truck. I was going to park at the O2 as they have chargers, but you need a source London card!

There's a ZE Services app which shows you battery info and allows you to control charge and cabin conditioning scheduling. Are Source London the same as Charge Your Car (CYC)? If so the CYC app allows you to start and stop charge sessions, it also allows you to locate and look in on chargers which you may be planning to use and check if they are available prior to arrival.
Just had a Rolec 32A charging point installed at home today, it doesn't seam to charge any quicker than the 16A we already have.
Maybe it's faster when the battery is below 90% as the cell balancing takes place towards the end of the charging cycle.
It will need some further investigation.

Second big trip out to the O2 from Herts. Stopped off at Ikea Tottenham to charge up to make sure I had plenty of juice. Found the charger free of any cars, needed the ecotricity card. As I finished an IMEV? turned up.
Spotted an out of use charger very close to London Bridge and managed to fit the car on it. There was an I3 with its cable trailing on the floor, so decided to copy him in case a traffic warden came by.
Arrived at the O2 for my £14 discounted parking and followed a Leaf in. 4 13 pin chargers and a DC Leaf rapid, nothing for a Zoe. Still we were parked in a good place for getting out, annoyed that they had said there was charging though.
Stopped off at Potters Bar services on the way out and used an ecotricity point, very fast charging.
I was very pleased with the battery life on the car in London, at less than 20mph it was very efficient. I drove more or less the whole thing in ECO, but as soon as I took the button off my range seemed to drop 10 miles. I am feeling a bit more confident now about travelling away from home.

Managed to achieve 3.7 mpkw on the way to work this morning. Won't be doing that again, it was boring.
My max range shown yesterday was 86 miles in the mild weather but I was driving like a granny and got 3.9. When you are stuck in traffic in London however you have to drive slow so it makes no difference and the car felt very suited to city driving.lost in espace said:

Tomorrow will be the first proper test of the Zoe, off to an HTP handling course, 120mile round trip so will need to charge at an Ecotricity point on the M/Way.
Cue the mild peril incidental music!!!!!!smn159 said:
Hmm... I have a meeting in Reading tomorrow which is a 100 mile round trip. Need to hope that the Ecotricity chargers at Reading services in at least one direction are working OK.
I have to use them on Friday drop a post here to confirm they are ok. There is a rapid charger near the football stadium if the worst happens, just on the road to Costco. I spotted it on one of the maps.lost in espace said:

Well I can confirm that the one on the westbound side worked OK this morning, although it needed a couple of goes to recognise the car. I had a coffee and some breakfast and went from 40% to 95% in about 40 minutes, so OK now to get home.Downside is that my fuel savings now need to be offset against the £7.50 that I spent in the services

Ha, I've found the same thing when I top up our Zoe at local Ikea & then go to top myself up with tea & cake whilst waiting!Downside is that my fuel savings now need to be offset against the £7.50 that I spent in the services

I have a sad obsession of trying to match the range to mileage achieved ie if I start the day on 74 miles and do 4 miles I try and get it to 70 miles range - not achieved it yet, must try harder. Worst example was 3 miles driven for 10 miles off the range!!!!
I do that as well Running the battery low - this video is very telling even though its in French its real time and shows how far you can go with no battery.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnehvJFg_3Y
If anyone speaks French please elaborate but from what I see I will no longer have range anxiety as its very pessimistic.
