When I asked them, they said they will only rent to private individuals.

Applied for a Tesla SR+, we looked at the figures and Evezy compared favourably to all the other methods of purchase when you take car tax, tyres, insurance and it is a tie free rental into account. Now to sell my 30kw Leaf, well in about December when I finally get a car.

Congratulations smile That's a better service than even regular Tesla customers get.

If/when I get one I have to trek on over to Birmingham or Heathrow to get it, a 100 mile drive to either venue.

Let us know how you get on with it smile

Yeah that's not ideal, my collection point is about 10 miles away, still, they are delivering for free due to the delay, even though there was no actual delay for me.

I suppose it's a day out, I'd Travel 100 miles personally.

Problem is you also have 100 miles to identify paint/panel defects, which means I will have to go over the car with a fine tooth comb on pickup.

I used to think that, now I just do a quick check and take photos of every angle of the car, only takes a few minutes.

Anyone with Evezy who has signed up for a 6 month contract and successfully applied for the OLEV grant?

I'm in the process of trying to sort it with Andersen, and they're asking me a load of questions I don't have the answers to and aren't in the single "Driver Hire Agreement" document that I've got, that I originally signed when I took up the 6 month contract.

Specifically it asks me for the following:
  • Registered Keepers name, email and telephone number
  • For vehicles on order – Estimated Delivery date and Order/Reference/Arrangement/agreement/enquiry/quotation number
  • Type of vehicle ownership - Registered Keeper/contract hire/hire purchase/leasing/personal contract hire/purchase/mobility order
Should I have other documents that have this information in?

You should be the registered keeper. EVEzy are the registered owner.

I would be very surprised if that were the case to be honest. They'd conceivably end up with cars with like 15+ previous keepers on them when it comes to selling them. Lease companies don't register cars in their customer's names so I'd assume my Evezy car is either in Evezy's name, or whoever they leased the car from themselves.

Exactly, with my lease I am neither the registered keeper or registered owner. I would expect EVEZY to be the same.

Advice from the police suggests the registered keeper should be the person using the car day to day.

I have never heard of any leasing company do anything of the sort

With both PCH and rental cars the registered keeper will be the hirer/finance company IME.

That's why they charge an admin fee for parking notices, speeding fines etc. as they have to nominate you and forward them on.

Having just seen a photo of the Evezy dashcam , not having that monstrosity on the windscreen is worth a few quid a month 😂

Had it in the i3 for 5 months. It is an ugly bugger but TBH hasn't been mentioned since the wife spotted it first day, and have had numerous passengers since.

I'll post one tomorrow if squirdan can't.

It's at the top of the windscreen behind the rear view mirror. Can't really see it from the driver's seat, but you can from the passenger. It looks like it's a least one generation behind the times.

It's not an "active" cam, so doesn't transmit in real time.

It's a hire car
try telling Avis they need to change the registered keeper everytime someone hires car from them
