I just browsed the Audi approved used site and found the one with a combination of low miles and low price. What’s the secret please?!
Lowest price doesn’t automatically mean lowest amount a month, because of the lower residuals on a higher mileage one.

What’s the secret please?!
Had a close look at them as I shortlisted it 5 years ago.
Back then it looked like a HUGE car on the outside, with relatively "small" boot.
My main turn off was looking at the consumption. Even then they were hugely inefficient compared to the competition (only Tesla and Jaguar), which brings a slew of problems wrt to range and charging. Their great charging curve (as posted before) couldn't make up for it when traveling the continent.
Considering depreciation and if you need a big secondary car, it's about the best thing you can get though. Plenty of poke and road presence, relatively low running costs.
If the same price, I wouldn't get one over a Model S or I Pace. The I Pace is a bit smaller still but ime a better drive, and the Model S beats it on all fronts except interior plastics.

Personally I'd spend a bit more and get a well specced HSE - because that what I used to have and if I got another one with bits missing I'd regret it!
Although as a special mention I would really miss the fantastic sound upgrade that comes as standard with HSE, that was epic.
In reality though, whatever spec and budget, they're all absolute bargains now.

Out of interest does the Audi warranty cover the battery if it's beyond its own warranty period?Battery aside, when I was looking at buying a used EV I noticed that third party warranty quotes were all really low, even the belt and braces top tier options were all around the £500 mark for the cars I was looking at. I guess that reflects the fact that battery aside, there isn't very much properly expensive stuff to go wrong.

I have three cars out of warranty now including the I-Pace. Sure if something big goes wrong it’s bad but this is extraordinarily rare in my experience. The margins on aftermarket warranties are usually super high so the business case for just sucking it up is good. Touch wood obviously.

Without a warranty I'd spend time and effort trying to find a cheaper fix - with a warranty I can just get problems sorted without thinking about it.
