I don't, tell me more biggrin

I'm guessing the burnt out Model 3 wouldn't have been beaming fault messages back to Tesla that could help? Do they only get those if they ask for them rather than all the time?
It was all over the news in 2014 as it caught fire as he drove home from the Tesla store, the "bullet" story only came 4 years later though.

An odd case to say the least hehe

Stock pricing has taken a beating! Or a correction.
As have other tech stocks and some EV stocks.

Not sure what 'good news' will bring it back now?

Why are Tesla taking down their forum? Do they have real problem with spamming and trolling?
Or is it limitation of spread of 'unhelpful' talk?

Hmm scratch chin............

I hadn't seen that one rofl what's odd is that they kept the bullet and battery and returned the car, then settled out of court.

I can only assume there was some legalese in the original agreement they signed with the owner that locked them into paying out despite the bullet incident. That or the insurance wouldn't pay out because Tesla wouldn't hand over the evidence?

The comments are hilarious, the article photo is from another Model S fire in another country and they descend into bickering about firing tracer bullets into fuel tanks and how the battery is much safer, or not, to shoot at. Americans...... laugh

It's the distraction technique - oh look over there my car does 0-60 in 3 seconds. 2nd only to the attack dog technique usually employed.

Makes sensible debate and discussion difficult. At least a few of the characters on here are just wind up merchants out fishing for bait usually, the real nutcases reside on the soon to be defunct Tesla forums.

After hours stock finished at 600.10 or around 33% down on the high a few weeks ago. I wonder if it will dip into the 5's so our friends on here can buy on the dip smile

I'm expecting a raft of stock boosting "news" to start leaking out of Tesla soon to try and boost it back up again.

$583 as I type.

Struggling to keep its head above 575 - its bounced a bit, tried to hold, will it or is the next stop 550.

If you want top buy in the 500's, then buy quickly before they're 4xx

The only pleasure I take on this slide is the slight vindication that the share price was stupidly high. The faithful probably can't see the people that made the real money were Musk and his bonus, the rights issue at a crazy price and the other directors cashing in shares, I feel sorry for all those believing the 800+ was a buying opportunity

yes
However, I take a lot more pleasure in those shorting having to buy absurdly high. Tesla delivered on that in spades in the past years hehe.

Pretty bad day for tech across the board, I might buy the dips.

Not sure what the end of lockdown might mean for tech tho, so I'm a little cautious.

Will likely buy more Tesla if it touches 500.
You might get a chance to buy at 500 today.

I'd be keen to jump in if it goes much lower. I guess the question is where the practical floor is.

One does wonder how long Elon can keep promising things are coming, with no evidence of it. FSD beta looks pretty impressive in the States, but it feels like the competition is moving much faster nowadays.

I sat waiting ready to buy and it's gone back up to 600. Oh well.

Tesla setting records again, biggest six week loss in trading history ever. Over $300 billion.

Will it slide more or has JJ missed the dip, tune in next week for more. Still down at below $600 with a few hours to go.

On the other hand... isn't it still worth something like 10x it was when this thread started?

Worth is a bit strong for this thread, valued at maybe smile

Trading volume today is extremely high for a normal day, lots of cold feet (or large stock holders dumping).

Amateur retort. It’s lost 30% of value in weeks. That’s bad. If you’re happy, what do I care.

Today’s action is a dead cat bounce wink
