They are around, are you doing quotes for a 50 with the same terms? Personally I’d do 24 months to take advantage of the warranty.

It’s lost £40k in value in 2 years laugh
That is a crazy good deal
I've signed up for a used e-tron today, but I haven't managed to get that price!

I'm paying £500 deposit, then £365 for 23 months for 10,000 miles p.a., including all the extras. I pretty happy with that to be honest, as I expect my fuel savings should cover virtually half of that anyway.

Hope you don't mind me asking, but what URL are you using to get that finance calculator example? Is it a click from a particular listing?

I test drove a 50 today, and am considering buying one.

Just to warn people, I did ring up about that car, as it worked out about £20 a month cheaper than the car I have ordered, but apparently it is already sold. There is still similar available, however.

I'm off to my local dealer to see/drive one tomorrow having never driven an electric car. Most on a good deal are miles away!

Personally, as someone who has run an E-Tron for the past 4 years, I think they would be a great second hand purchase for someone.

I have a 55 model, which I've always charged to 100% on charge. Its done 55,000 miles (most of it on the motorway between Leeds and London during lockdown due to lack of trains) without any issue and I get 200 miles range in summer and currently around 160 in cold conditions. It is a business lease so its obviously a tax efficient way of having the car for me as a company owner.

I was due to switch to a Q8 Etron later this month but cancelled the order as the increase in monthly payments didn't seem to reflect improvements to the car. The range would likely get to nearer 250 miles on the new model, but it isn't used massively anymore so don't need that much.

I wasn't aware 2nd hand prices had dropped to the levels they had/have, as I'd have potentially been interested in purchasing mine from the leasing company (VWFS) if they had have been open to it, but instead I have an IX coming as BMW were offering some great deals a while back on them.

For 30k (or less) they are great cars IMO.

£280pcm for 6k miles a year is 56p per mile.

Yes, but I'm paying £365pcm for 10,000 miles per year, which is just under 44p per mile. My current fuel costs are about 30p a mile, and I reckon that the electricity will cost somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 of that depending upon how much cheap electricity I can get with the Ohme charger.

Should be far less than 1/2 - with a decent tariff you should have no problems charging solely overnight and should expect the electricity cost to be approx 3p per mile, allowing for charging loss.

Cheap as chips! Cheaper these days, actually smile

Ok consider my interest well and truly Piqued.

What's the warranty situation on these? Just looked at a couple and said 1 year. I'd be looking to do the low deposit 24month PCP.

Audi are currently running an offer on used electric cars where they give you a 2-year warranty and 2-years of servicing, so it's perfect for a 2-year PCP, which is what I have done.

Very nice indeed.....I am potentially going to test drive one, the Q4 E Tron is the same per month but £2500 bigger deposit. Considering the car is £10k more than that is also really good.

I have been considering electric more and more recently but being able to palm it back to them in 2 years is pretty ideal and the cost over those 2 years is pretty reasonable for such a new car with low running costs, warranted.

That is a quite reasonable price to have a nice shiny, up-market, fully warranteed car, essentially risk free.

ISTM, these cars are not going to be worth the 'final optional payment' in two years time.
Audi are maybe hiding a loss for a couple of years, because the cash value of these cars is really in line with the monthly rental.
£365 a month without a big deposit is really saying that car is worth about £18k, a bit more than a new clockwork Fiat.

Maybe Audi are taking a punt on values rising crazily in two years?

The yearly mileage allowance thing does my head in, because if (when!) we change one car to electric, we will use it as much as possible.
Also we have no chance of predicting our mileage one year to the next!

Current fuel cost of 30p a mile is going some? 22mpg petrol? I avoid urban and get >10 miles to the litre of the smelly greasy diesel stuff.

Put a deposit down earlier.

£500 down
£316/mth
6000miles

Not as good as the deals people were getting earlier but it's not bad

The residual value of the car did make me burst out laughing. You can already go outwith the dealer network and buy an equivalent Etron for £22.5k. The idea those cars are worth £18k in two years time is for the birds...

Glad people have managed to take advantage of the offer that I posted.

I still haven’t picked mine up yet due to Maidstone Audi being useless. Should be looking at getting it this weekend though.

The residual value on mine is £23k after 18 months and there’s no way it’s going to be worth that, so it’s a no-brainer to just give it back at the end like a lease.

My figures are £500 month, £280/month, 6k over 18 months. The dealer messed up my paperwork so had to knock £750 off the price of the car to stick to the deal agreed.

If anyone is looking, there is around a month wait for the charger to be fitted, so something to be aware of.
