Some throbber uploaded a clickbaity video to YouTube on this subject, claiming it's a craze sweeping the country which would mean that EVs no longer have a future. Cue predictable comments saying this was another reason they would never buy an EV. They all seemed to have overlooked the fact that 100 years of having fuel syphoned and at least 20 years of having catalytic converters hacksawed off haven't put people off buying ICE cars.
Scumbags are going to steal anything whether it's nailed down or not unfortunately.
Fuel theft definitely stil a problem , had our vans targeted 2 weeks ago, theft of fuel is annoying, but its the damage they cause to property and the vehicles.
CCTV show 5 guys in hoodies and masks , anybody know them ?
Yep. An old mate had a transit van in the fenced and locked gated yard. Travellers climbed the fence, removed the fuel tank and spilt diesel all over the yard as they tried to haul it back over the fence - and failed. Everyone lost that night.

That Vs a swiped charging lead - please guys, take the lead!

To the title of the thread: This is not the latest problem, it's just a fact of life.

He's an absolute throbber isn't he? Clever though, must generate decent revenue feeding the lack of understanding of many a driver. 100k+ views on some of his videos.

It's mind boggling that people would listen to this tut and feel 'clever' because they've uncovered and understood a 'secret' the industry was trying to cover up rofl

st gets nicked, so... Don't ever improve a cars powertrain. Leave it as it is, forever. Good plan!
