Cheap Zoe deals...
Discussion
So my parent in-laws have just ordered a Zoe:
£500 deposit, £158/month for 24 months, first month payment £248 - including all fees.
Thats 7,500 miles per year, Zoe dynamic nav (with new more efficient motor), in metallic, and free home EV charger.
These deals seem to floating around at a few dealers, option to go up to 3 years for similar costs. Cars funded by RCI finance - same company as Nissan uses. Essentially Renault are throwing in £5K off the list price in addition to the £5K EV grant, and setting very high GFV to make the monthly payments low.
Might be of interest to some.

Same here, nothing has been reported to us about any issues with ZOE other than just not enough build slots.
Also, the Q4 offer is now £995 customer deposit and £89pm over 24m @ 3.9% APR. Plus battery hire obviously!
That's still a decent deal. I don't understand why Nissan/Renualt just don't lower the list price and get rid of the whole 'dealer contribution' rubbish. A direct sales model like Tesla would be much better for the consumer - Though not necessarily for the dealers. Also, the Q4 offer is now £995 customer deposit and £89pm over 24m @ 3.9% APR. To me all the manufacturers were testing the water. Now they've got a constant stream of orders coming in they are improving the models to meet demand. The i3 got range extender, the Leaf gets a bigger battery, Zoe gets a new motor, Tesla goes X-Type etc..
I think we are just starting to see the beginning in a huge push in EV evolution if it is to replace the fossil fuel car in the future. Already a couple of people have decided they want out of the PCP deal too, and having to pay your way out of a 2 year deal is a lot better than a 3 or more year deal!
On the flipside; the EV government grant will be lapsed in January.. that means buying an EV just cost £5k more.. unless I read that incorrectly.
i3 Rex was avaliable from the start. Nissan has made no attempts to hide the fact more range is coming for less money, the Model X was announced a few years ago - but only just made it to production.I think we are just starting to see the beginning in a huge push in EV evolution if it is to replace the fossil fuel car in the future. The PCP deals have the same termination rules as any other car. The only reason they seem expensive to terminate is because the deals are so cheap in comparison!!
Another £500 million has been pledged for a new EV grant after the current one ends, the change will be only 'proper' all battery EVs like the Leaf/Tesla will benefit. PHEVs like the Mitibushi and Golf GTE excluded.

Interested in a Zoe, but the best my local dealer can do is £995 deposit, car £113 battery £80 (£193) over 2 years at 8K a year. Anyone seen any better deals.
That's still pretty cheap, but the best deals have gone at the moment. By all account Renault have sold more than they can make, parent-in laws delivery date is now late Jan, that's a 4 month back order list. Still I suspect come March 2016 the deals will be back.
