Premier Vert is a car park not a campsite as I understand it.

Oh ok. I booked through 1st Tickets, it's a PH site inside the circuit. Hopefully wink

Inside the circuit, certainly. Near the MM Arena.

I always thought it was a secure car park. Along with rouge, bleu and blanc. Happy to be wrong though.

It's Brians posh campsite, looks good and a great location.

Correct! Our Premier Vert campsite is an upgrade from Bleu Nord, being a smaller quieter site and a stones throw from Chappelle Curve.

On our Bleu Nord site, you park your car on your pitch but with Premier Vert, we have a secure manned car park in the Premier Vert parking about 100m away. PV is a two minute walk from a tram stop so easy access into town too smile

Busting the Le Mans cherry with my boy. Due to his work commitments it will be a bit of a taster, we are arriving Friday tea time. I know we'll miss the parade and other stuff earlier in the day but are there any foreseeable issues arriving at this time? Staying at Premier Vert, I'll be the bloke asking endless questions! Also what is Premier Vert like Sunday night, leaving Monday morning?

Really looking forward to it.
Thanks
Jonny

Only stayed there - nowhere else, so can't compare to the other sites, but Premier Vert is great.

Perfect location, a few metres away from:- an entrance, car park, the track, viewing point, food van, and a very short walk to the tram.
Shame they stopped using the grandstand opposite it, but you can't have everything!

It's small enough so there's never a queue for showers, toilets, food/drink, and it's really peaceful.
(well, except for all those - you know, cars, just outside the entrance hehe)

The beer's great, the staff are fantastic, and you'll absolutely love it.

Well of course it's going to cost more via an agency. But after 3 years of trying to get TR via the ACO - but ending up with Houx - made us decide to just pay the extra to secure TR well in advance.
Same with us. After years of booking with the ACO, with some sort of an account number, they wouldn't sell us our favourite camp site or grandstand, and its got worse since, so we decided to get what we wanted and pay the extra. The agencies earn their money haggling with the ACO

Cough cough. It might be a smaller site than PHBN, but it’s nestled within the circuit & much closer to the track with the trade off of convenience being more noise when the racing’s on.

OP, make sure you’ve got some decent ear defenders & ear plugs as well if you’re a light sleeper & want any sleep during the race without resorting to decent levels of inebriation wink Brian at 1st Tickets does run a well sorted site IMO.

Don't know, unfortunately.
Always leave straight after the race - and have a comfy night in a Paris hotel.
Best way of catching up on sleep after the race!

From what I've seen, it's a great atmosphere in the tent after the race. A bit like the Friday night, but with more people.
You'll have a great time.

Haven't been able to take my boy yet, tried for the last two years - but the LM weekend always seems to be a couple of days out for GCSE exams, study leave etc.
Promised to take him next year, if the A-levels are over in time.

Sunday evening is good. Its a quieter version of Friday, as quite a few leave, and many are packing up for an early start. Its a question of eating and drinking whatever's left

Just booked, staying at the Village on the Curves with my teenage sons again for the 4th year on the trot! It’s fair to say they (and me) are pretty excited!

An interesting selection of campsites. When I first went, we stayed in Houx which still had the long communal sinks you see in the old films, and few other facilities, except for a small log cabin selling beer. The campsites are far more civilised now.

We decided Maison Blanche was the best site, being next to the track, and except for 3 years in Bleu, when we couldn't get the tickets, we've been there 30 times. And it has the advantage of being within Zimmer frame range of the grandstands.

Been wanting to do this for years - finally booked up! Going with my two son's and start to get really excited, especially reading these posts from other 'newbie's'.

We've booked through PH/1st Tickets on Bleu Nord site. It may be a little more expensive but not having been before want to take away a few of the worries about campsites. Also as we're not leaving until Monday the site still has security on until then.

So with that taken care of all I need to worry about now is where to get the mandatory car stickers smile
