Not so. We now have another event in July on alternative years called Classic Days. Good fun last year with track access or just park and spectate, depending on your whim. Track price was around £350 and park and watch was about £35.ETA:- This is on the Bugatti circuit only, not the full circuit.

The words used by the news ‘the tentacles of Coronavirus spread deeper and grip tighter around europe’, but the numbers are so low as background to this sensationalised statement. Whole countries colored red on the world map which make it seem literally everywhere and everyone is in peril.
The numbers are still very small. Take Wuhan where it all started, 13 million people live there. The percentages were small even there.
How many super storms, weather bombs do we get that really materialise into nothing much. The last thing the media was telling us that was going to wipe out the human race was Ebola and that kind of just disappeared from the news.
Who knows. Maybe it will be terrible and a the idea of sporting events taking place are the least of our concerns. On the other hand it might not even be making the news by June!

The French government just banned all events of 5000 or more people in a confined space! 
Guess the track isn't confined but far more than 5000 people from everywhere in the world!

t ton of people sneezing etc at LM24 due to hay fever, mine gets pretty intense when its dull there. 2017 was the only time I didn't have an issue because it was scorchio!!!!Vette_1978 said:
I think Coronavirus is the least of my worries. Just need to avoid the food poisoning from undercooked bbq chicken, the lung cancer from too many Cafe Creme, the liver disease from too many Biere33, the perforated eardrum from listening to a V8 at 4500 rpm for hours on end, the heart disease from daily steak & frites, the broken jaw and torn mouth from crusty French bread. Corvid19 would be a nice relief.

Correct, except that in one area north of Paris where the virus seems entrenched ALL gatherings have been banned. So this can happen in quite a localised way.
In the local paper today there is an interview with the ACO about the effect of the coronavirus. Remember that Le Mans is not just about the 24 Hour races - it is a daily business and at home I hear cars/bikes virtually every day if the wind is in the right direction. So, we have the Superbikes championship event in seven weeks, then the 24 hour bike race in April, and so on. The ACO have quite rightly said that they are not qualified to make a decision since it is a medical - and political - decision, so they will abide with what those specific bodies say. So, I shall continue to listen to the news and scan the paper every day, and if something comes up then I'll post on the subject again.

Someone said it’s less about the warmth and more about UV? No idea of true or not, but if so living like a feral beast in the wild for a week for once might actually have a health benefit....
