The Discovery + coverage has been excellent so far. Normally I'd try and sync up Eurosport with the RLM feed, but the Goodwin / Havens / Roller / Davidson et al on Discovery, with no ads has just been perfect.
Speaking of perfect, there was a shot of the no 6 963 going over the hump before Mulsanne corner flat out and all on its own - massive call back to the no 25 917 from the '71 movie. Eurosport are doing well so far with new and iconic shots.
Its going to be a great race.

I have once again opted for paying 12.99 EUR for the whole weekend ad free on fiawec.tv. It’s great overall. Can’t stand watching on eurosport with adverts every 10 minutes.
A general issue with all coverage is the onboards. Hope they fix it for the race as they are very choppy.

Is it not a bit embarrassing for the GT cars to be outqualified by what is basically a NASCAR? The Hendricks Motorsports Camaro peddled by Jenson Button, Jimmie Johnson and Mike Rockenfeller, 4 seconds quicker than the GTs and in amongst the LMP2 cars.
I haven't really followed who's good/not good yet. Is it true pace or have the BOP regs been in their favour against GT and LMP2?ajprice said:

Its unclassified. So in a caution, all cars behind will overtake.

And will start at the very back
And wont show. An odd thing: it will race, and be on the live timing, but will never be an official finisher.
Still, good to see. A nascar with headlights. It might catch on...

Though this will be the last year of ES complaints, it'll be about the yearly price hiking from D+ from now on.
I've had an ES yearly subscription since it started and never saw an advert. ES was excellent value for £40 at year IMHO.
