Hi,

Looking for some help/advice.

I'm an ACO member. Can anyone confirm whether it's possible to purchase club member hospitality access online before the event or does it have to be done at the circuit?

Had a look on the website but its not clear (to me at least!).

Thanks, George

I got mine when I got my membership online and have recently bought an extra access pass for a mate online too. I did see they were going to stop selling them when they reached a certain point, but whether they will or not I don't know.

Oh, who knew this all sold out so quickly..... Although I haven't been for two decades...

Any tips for someone trying to book now? There's some campsite 'only' 6 miles from the circuit, Le Pont Romain, but not really what I'm after.

Does anyone know or can recommend any public campsites nearer the circuit?....

No need for the 'not sure if serious' responses. We've been talking about it for a bit but only just got round to actually looking to book....

I’d start by ringing round the agencies, I think it was 1st Tickets who tweeted a couple of days ago that they had some camping tickets available

You could try the municipal campsite in La Suze Sur Sarthe (20 min easy drive - aim for expo parking)

La Flèche campsite is also good. (30 min drive but easy route - aim for expo parking)

There is also private site that runs under the name Clubmotorsport in Guecelard (15-20 min drive, again expo is best place)

I’d book a local campsite but keep an eye on the ACO resale site using the Telegram link posted often. Camping tickets are bound to come up especially as we get nearer the event.

Awesome, thanks. Booked (Well paid deposit and 'reserved') through 1st tickets. Exactly where we wanted to be with the sailing too.

Magic!

Super, thanks for these, there's loads of availability here. We wanted to be by the circuit and it seems general admission tickets are now sold out, so bought a package as above with the tickets too. Thanks for taking the trouble for such a detailed reply however. beer

Cheers, I was looking at the ACO resale site last week, although they had nothing to resell. Odd there's so little resale action when there is for about every other event on the planet...

Looks like I'm sorted now, so counting the days!

Thanks all, see you there!

Did you go for Clubmotorsport? (Guessing with tickets also, you have)

It is quiet, but if you just visit the resale page on spec, your chances of finding anything available are slim to none. You need to use the Telegram app.

No, the 1st Tickets lot. Ferry route we wanted, camping at Beausejour and general access tickets.

Last year was the same for the 100. As and when the manufacturers fade away in Hypercar, it'll quiet down again.

Sorry for the probably daft question but been to Le Mans 15+ times except for the last 4 years. Really fancied going this year and never had an issue getting tickets closer to the event. Always had a hotel so that was the only thing we needed to book before Xmas. Now can't find any tickets. They used to do tickets on the door. Is that no longer an option?

No.
Ring round the agents, or do the telegram thing for the resale site, or keep your eyes peeled on here

not been able to buy tickets on the gate since before covid. But there are chances to purchase tickets on the aco resale site and on various forums but be careful tickets are now split into full week. practice, weekend, green(traveling to circuit on [public transport or in electric car) grandstand tickets include entry now. So nothing is as simple as it was

Thanks guys. Yes it seems things aren't what they used to be. I should have looked into this before Xmas but thanks for the advice. Will keep an eye on resale etc.

Make sure you use the Telegram app as without it you have very little chance of snagging anything.

Last time I went was in 2016, but that was probably my 6th trip. I am massively behind the curve, and may look to go in 2025. Have things got a lot more complicated? I just searched through some email in 2016 and costs were approx. below;

Dover-Dunkirk £90 return, albeit fairly unsocial hours.
Beausejour 57 Euros
Tickets we bought on the gate with an old student ID biggrin I think that was 38 euros each for the whole weekend.

So for two people the total was the square root of naff all (£110 p/p).

Just looked at first tickets;

Boat
Camping Tickets
Entry tickets
£604 or £302 p/p.

Seems a bit steep to me, given I know what Beausejour and a boat is like! Mind you I still think 2016 was just yesterday when it was in fact 7 years ago!

Is this the new normal, and is it like that because as an individual you can't buy camping and general admittance tickets directly from the ACO? I remember the more popular campsites you were not able to book directly. I guess they just ship the whole lot out to tour operators these days.frown
