grrr i think I've watched the ant and dec af and clio add thousand times now on Eurosport ad breaks
The very reason I paid a month's subscription to eurosport player, so I could watch it without adverts! To be fair, I got it to watch the bike 24h originally, but not having adverts has been great.
Why didn't you all just select the option of uninterrupted coverage, that was offered as standard on the Euro player screen, not a single Geordie in sight........or sound, as I think the commentary is great, tried RLM, but was just a load of old men rambling about 1970's, fine when at the circuit, where the alternative is French, but aweful compared to he Euro sport guys, far more insider knowledge, and a good amount of humour to keep you going.
I signed up to Eurosport annually, via the Eurosport website. What have I done wrong to receive so many commercial breaks for the car race, don't remember getting them for the bike race (though I could be wrong)?
Don't know, but we literally selected 'uninterrupted coverage' and that's what we got... Admittedly you had to scroll right on the selections offered - so suspect some clever placing of the 'with advertisements' feed meant that you didn't look far enough to find the other feed.

My mate selected the first thing he saw as soon as I logged us on. Thanks for the explanation, that makes sense.

Eurosport player is far from user friendly. There are loads of duplicate/blind alleys, and some browsers don't show everything. Plus if you're looking for non- live video, is Le Mans under Endurance, Motor Racing or Motorsport? But its good once you find what you're looking for

Certainly see more of the race watching from home. RLM OK mainly when race not on and WEC app commentary pretty good but do switch on Eurosport sound for some interviews. switching around and synching pictures good for concentration though.

Car identification pretty bad from both app and eurosport - Red River number 90 etc. They do lack a system for remembering what car had what steering/suspension/crash damage through the night as it goes to pot as soon as they switch commentators.

Didn't see the usual ticker tap overall field at bottom this year and feed often stayed on LMP2 1-18 for ages. So access to timing by category from laptop on WEC app very good/essential.

Agree App was/would be very good value - also get sessions and hour by hour sections with commentary on reply.

A lot less accidents/crashes caused by LMP2s rushing GTE into corners/chicane approaches this year IMO

Thought Ford just came for PR re the 50 year anniversary of 1966 and built race cars a full year or so before the road cars.

So couldn't see their program going on long term as they don't build car after car like Porsche, AM, and Corvette etc. Plus they over did the sand bags and results in year 1.

That last hour ! LM24 2020 didn't disappoint. I was a bit fear full at the first couple of hours.... and already I knew not to care too hard about LMP1. There is always some kind of drama build up at the end, be it a very close GT finish or heart grabbing car failures.

First year I watched with a timing screen on another TV next to the main living room setup and wow it made a difference to follow the race and what the commentators too frequently missed :-D

I thought it was quite incredible the work the ACO and Marshals did to even run the event but to rebuild two tire barriers / recover cars in that last hour without ending in a safety car finish was excellent.
The Slow Zones / FCY really do work well now and a much prefered solution to the dreaded three safety cars splitting the field. I can see in a not to distant future that technology being expanded to say BTCC or British GT's before filtering down.

It should all be on Youtube..

Radio Le Mans (or more accurately, Radio Show Ltd.) are doing the English commentary again, from tomorrow (UK Times):

Don't forget to stock up on both, cochon du lait (slow roast suckling-pig served in a weird white sauce) which is always served with a massive dollop of rigid dauphinoise potatoes and of course lasagne. Check-table clothes on garden furniture a must. Have one of your kids wear black and get them to serve it to you - It must be eaten at 3am for the most authentic effect. If your kids are anything like mine, they won't struggle ignoring you when you want to place your order or being rude to you when you finally manage it - you could almost be there.

Where, France?
They allowed 10,000 into the Missano motogps, 2 weeks in a row - tiny numbers but better than zero. If France then why? What has changed?

They are allowing fans at the N24 too, but only in the stands on the GP circuit and not in the pits or out on the main 'ring.

Is Eurosport TV showing N24?
Is the N24 on the full “Ring” track or just the F1 GP track

It’s all on YouTube, and it’s on the full Ring.

They are full fat GT3 cars at the front, so perhaps up to 600bhp. Unsure of top speeds but won’t be too far off 200mph.
