There you go see look at that last picture, you can clearly see two beer tokens. I wonder if it's because we have two large pitches and you only get beer tokens if you're staying on a large pitch?

I checked and I do have five of them so clearly I'm not going completely mad, dyslexic yes, completely mad not quite wink
Very jealous! biggrin Though it's not as if we'll be arriving with insufficient supplies drinkbeer
The price included food from Thursday until Monday. If, like us, you're not using all of the food allowance (as we don't arrive until Friday) you got Beer Tokens instead. In synchromesh's picture I assume it's in place of the crossed out food tickets?

Phew, i'm not missing out on free beer thensmile

As a slight aside, what does the 1st tickets bar charge for drinks (roughly)? Is it sensible European village prices or crazy can't go anywhere else so you're trapped holiday resort prices?

IIRC, it wasn't bad at the BM AGM last year. The beer was outstanding too (although that is compared to the "33 Export" I'd been drinking all week). Seem to remember ~4E-5E a pint?

I've been there for years and no had any issues, sure the area isn't a million miles away but it is now so heavily policed that nothing happens. Drove through at. what was, peak time last Friday and nothing was happening. Saturday is quiet, always has been.

You'll be more frustrated with traffic volumes than anything else.

Thanks. I've never had any issues in the past either but I've been with a bigger group and just followed them around. This time there's only two cars in the group and I'm leading so just didn't want to blunder into anything. Quite like the thought of having the roof off. Less keen on p1ssy water pistols..!

We've seen people getting stopped to do burnouts just to the south of the PH site on the D139, tends to be later on Friday afternoon. We were not there last year though so it might have been stopped. I was thinking that to avoid any issues after the PH Friday Service we would turn right and do a loop to come into the back of the campsite.

Last year the Gendarmes had it locked down, with this year seeing new speed limits and the ban of mini-motos I can't see that being relaxed.

Am working down South for a week. Don't fancy a rush trip up and back down M1 so I'm departing bonny Yorkshire on Thursday with a car full and going straight from MK next Thu.
