A totally frustrating system.

Not got the grandstand I wanted despite forking our extra to be able to.

Was going to leave it totally and miss ‘19, but in the end booked a grandstand and parking just in case. Left off the general entry for now.

If I decide not to bother, I’ll sell nearer the time. Will be the first missed race since 2003, so finding it hard to make that call at the moment. Got the essentials if we decide to go.

Will see. Also not anticipating an exciting race for the overall win.

Finally got mine around 4pm. As others, I just got 2x ACO T18 and 2x Bleu Sud for now, just in case I change my mind nearer the time.

As I am not an ACO member, I will need to get my tickets with the rest of the rabble.
Looking to be getting some grandstand tickets, but probably won't get around to ordering them until next week at the earliest.
How quick have the grandstand tickets typically sold out previously? For example ones opposite the pits (not the ACO stands) or dunlop or ford chicane?
Not done grandstand tickets before, but figured this year is as good as any to give them a go. Gives me a place to watch the start and finish as well as somewhere to have a rest.
Booked camping already at Bounty. Figured I'd get in early as I'll take the motorhome down this year and wanted some hookup.

You'll get the stands opposite the pit exit OK, Barnato, Benoist, etc But Dunlop and the main tribune probably sold out

Only a few left in Dunlop when I finally got on to the ACO website about 3pm yesterday. Much better choice though (several hundred) on the adjoining Panorama grandstand right next to the Dunlop bridge

Is this just through and email?

Do you send the request or speak to them in advance?

i have been using the tourist office for a long time now and each year they email me a booking form on the morning tickets go on sale to members, i complete the form and email it back. The tourist office has dedicated staff for racing events and you get full aco discount on tickets, however they have now been forced to charge a 5% fee after pressure from the other agents selling tickets. They do have an allocation for camping tickets so can not guarantee you will get large amounts of camping tickets for the popular sites but are always helpful.
