Thought I'd start this off, for a laugh, although the predicted wind direction has changed since yesterday(!)

Don't you love these weather sites biglaugh

Supposedly the same date, yet they fluctuate so much, especially with longer-range stuff.

This same site, today, makes Sat at LM FAIR & 19 degrees......whereas yesterday it was CLOUDY & 23 degrees

At this rate, by the time June comes, we'll be chipping the ice from the cars! laugh

On the basis that I went on my own last year and had terrific weather and have convinced a few friends to come along this year, it shall clearly chuck it down all weekend.

The weather over here is a bit bizarre this year.
Last week it was in the mid 30's with a clear blue sky, this week it's been in the low teen's and with rain and a cold wind.
Roll on summer.

So we are leaving in less than 28 days!!

Where is Kiters42 and his always accurate feline weather forecasting possy (should that be pussy possy?) - I need to know if I need to fit the snorkel to the Land Rover this year ;-)

All the current long-range stuff is worthless, it changes more than once a day, already, so gawd knows how it will be in June.

Think it'll be a Saturday/Sunday night job, then keep the fingers crossed that one is accurate!

Ah but Kiters is accurate....

Each year he erects his tent before Le Mans and depending on if his cat goes in the front or the back of the tent indicates if it will rain or be a scorcher! ;-)

Love it! biggrin

Although it's hard enough to get my cat 3 miles to the vet, let alone La Sarthe.........

Just tell your cat that it's the cream of motor racing!
The cars that go are the cats whiskers :-)
Now that there's no Grid Girls your cat will be the only pussy (sorry)
On each of the corners there's plenty of
kitty litter.
There's 24 hours racing with no paws.

Sorry for the dreadful puns but I'm not purrfect

See you down there :-)

I've been speaking to my friends at the International Weather Forecast for Motorsport Events and they've provided me with the following forecast, this is confidential so you cannot share it with anybody else...

One to watch....

Gavin of gavsweathervids.com has over the years produced weather video forecast's for the Le Mans
weekend and will be doing the same this year.

they should start appearing on his events page early in June

check him out on twitter.

I will post a link as soon as they are up.

Baron.

Spare a thought for all those here for the Moto GP. The camp sites are pretty full, and it was 5C this morning. Oh, and the paper gleefully reported yesterday on three Brit motorcyclists who lost their licences yesterday for doing 120 mph in a 56 mph zone. Will they never learn?

His current (general) forecast for June is 'average to cooler'........ will be interesting to see if that improves, the closer we get to LM

I like the look of that. It will rain at some point during the 24h but at least if I come back scorched like last year, I'll be happy.
