Ditto here. My usual 2 general admission, parking Expo, and 2 seats in Dunlop (which I couldn't get last year). Unbelievable how quickly the grandstand seats go unless big chunks are booked in advance by the big tour operators. And that's with all the supposed advantages of being an ACO member
With the ACO finally having sorted their ticketing website over the last few years, why do we still need Ticket Agents? I got on to the page at 9:03 this morning wanting Camping Expo tickets, I got one (it said 1 left) and straight after there were no more. However we need another one for the group so are going to have to go and pay double the face value to get it from an agent? (assuming they'll still sell it to me after they read my rant!). What do the 6 official UK agents actually add to the occasion apart from cost?
P.S. I am excited honest, just the usual ticket problems!

Fair play ACO!
The ACO posted a message on their facebook page about people queuing at the circuit for tickets and generally mentioning tickets on sale.
A fair few people had posted angry messages about the IT system not working and so few tickets being made available for sale on campsites etc.
I posted also about not being able to book the ACO stand due to some error.
They have seen the message, found my membership details from my name, phoned me, spoke to a nice girl called Emilie who swapped my Sommer grandstand seats for 4 seats in the ACO stand. All confirmed on the phone and e-tickets sent along with advice on how to make it work in future.
Then literally 2 mins after sorting it and hanging up, had another call from a different person at the ACO to try and sort out the previous issue.
Credit to ACO, that is really good customer service. Lots of moaning previously about some of their systems, but this has restored my faith and deserved a mention.
Roll on June!

This. I've only managed to buy grandstands from the ACO once in the 10 years I've been (about 3 years ago iirc). Last year I feared they'd all been 'pre' sold to operators, and I fear the same this yearP.S. I am excited honest, just the usual ticket problems!

Trying to book ACO stand. Usual mess.
I can book everything else no problem.
I take out two memberships to get 4 seats in the stand, and get this mess every year.
That's why I didn't bother last year. It was the ususal fk up not being able to login and watching all the ACO stand tickets go. I bought less good seats and the usual GE and parking tickets but Frankly coulnd't be arsed so I sold them all and watched it on Eurosport with Radio LM commentary.I can book everything else no problem.

I missed no more than 30 minutes of the whole race and saved well over £1K for my trip (inc hotel, ferry etc).
Try it.
Due to ACO website problems yesterday, i.e. everything shown as sold out except for Arnage we ended up ordering these rather than having none at all, later on it showed BSJ as having tickets so we ordered these and we now have 5 Arnage 2017 camping tickets available.
The ACO wont accept that there was a problem and wont accept a return.
Just need to recover the face value of 285 Euros which includes Courier to UK.

Shame they didn't do that in 2016, or 2015 or 2014 or 2013...................The ACO posted a message on their facebook page about people queuing at the circuit for tickets and generally mentioning tickets on sale.
