another) Le Mans virgin

I am going to Le Mans (!!! ) for the first time heading down on Thursday morning from Calais. I don’t have anywhere to camp at the moment so I am looking for advice – where should I try when I get there? I have read as many of the threads as possible and someone mentioned turning up and camping in Parking Green with no pre-booked tickets – where is that? Where do you think I will have best luck in finding a place to pitch and party??

ANY advice welcome!! Is there any chance of turning up at the gates of one of the main (fully booked) sites in the circuit and getting in?? Am I going to be relegated to sleeping in the car??? (Nooooooo!!!)

Rosso/MGV8, that is the route I am planning on taking by the sound of it - fast to Rouen and back roads from there. Should be able to keep up ?? Will try anyway. I will walk down the train and see if I can find you during the crossing.

Andy - will flash you when you go past as long as you are not going as fast as you were in that video of you last year...!!!
