Some updates from various sources:
"Bob Berridge in the Chamberlain-Synergy Motorsport TVR Tuscan 400R is in up beat mood. The two cars did 70 laps this morning .. qualified all six drivers and we had no trouble at all with the cars so come the end of the morning one car was sitting in the pit garage being polished!
Bob tell us ” We are still using the same tyres and brakes that we used at Sebring and we are 8 seconds faster than our 2003 test times and running at about the same pace as we did in official practice last year”.
They will stay on hard compound tyres and be working this afternoon to sort out various ‘heat’ related problems. At the moment the gearbox and differential are running too hot. Their next problem is with the alternator, this failed at Sebring, because it also runs too hot, mainly because it is situated just below the inlet manifold. They will move it before the race."
