Spoke to a main dealer.

The new prices are only currently for the GTI and R Estate. No new pricing for the R Hatchback as of yet.

Tricky - Golf or C/E Class... GTI does seem like a bargain.

Windrush VW.

Yes they were matching the price and no admin fee, so slightly cheaper. Awaiting my official quote to come through.

Have you guys ever heard of going to a dealership and asking to lease their approved used cars?

Surely would be cheaper as the initial years depreciation has already taken effect plus any additional years it's been around for.

wouldn't mind a two year old RS Q3, finding some that are going for around 28-35 grand region. Shows how much they have depreciated lol.
Can you do that?

I wouldn't personally want to go older than maybe a three month old demonstrator and then, depending upon the servicing schedule, get the first service done free of charge.

The VAT effect would already have been priced into the depreciation by that point but it would effectively still be a pristine car with some substantial warranty left.
Yeah it's approved used vehicles through Audi for instance you can purchase a decent extension to the warranty also but all approved use cars would come with one

Moderately good deal on a 335d Xdrive:

https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/car-leasing...

9+23 8k mileage £299.99 inc VAT

In Stock
No fees

Not amazing but haven't seen better for a while.
If that deal is kosher I've made a massive mistake ordering a 330d for the same price. I'm calling bull s&£t

I've got a Leon Cupra 290 and the wife has a C Class 250d. So Similar choice.

For general transport, interior quality, badge snobbery - the Merc wins.

But for fun, the Cupra wins every time - I rarely want to drive her Merc instead of my Cupra.

And I hate the Merc Diesel engine. Decent power and mpg but god it rattles.

That's reasonable price, and it's 5dr, DSG. 8k pa, total over 2 years £7384.

I will wait for someone to get more info as I'm in wrong part of the world to call right now.

Please be vigilant we all know VWFS have a habit of introducing crazy cheap deals, only to pull them very quickly after.

VW are saying this will be a stock campaign and they will know availability by 3pm.
Hope you don't mind the query, but are you anticipating any movement on the current deals for the A7 models?

Quite a few have these same 335d m sports. They were very easy to find.
New Car Deals, Go Green Leasing and others all had it.
My deal is as it was advertised - 3+23, 10k miles for 386 inc vat for a MY17 car.
I ordered just over 2 weeks ago, the car arrives on Thursday.

The cars are totally standard though.
Bloody BMW, why not at least register with the MS+ pack. It only adds about £25 p/m to the lease and I'm pretty sure the majority of lessors would pay it.

If you lease directly via a main dealer, does anyone know if they will consider taking a PX?

There were / are plenty of deals putting 335dx and 330d at or almost at the same price. 335dx is way more car of course.

Here's one (not the best, just last one I saw) - 8 quid between them. https://www.selectcarleasing.co.uk/car-leasing/bmw...

The odd dealer might take a part exchange. The difficulty is if the dealer is miles away, then you either a) have to drive to them so they can see your car or b) they'll kick it really hard as they won't see it until the delivery man drops it off to them. It's a bit late to try and sort out 4 bald tyres and not a straight panel on a car described as 'mint'. Also the margins are wafer thin on lease deals, so even if it is as described and it doesn't fetch as much as hoped in auction then the dealer has made a loss on the deal.

We Buy Any Car is your port of call really
