I expect this thread will go the way of the M5 warranty claim one, maybe worth pointing RR to this via twitter and let them sort this out now before it gets worse. Which it appears it will.
OP have you run the vcheck yet?
Yes it passed, previous owner had it 2 years 5 months, nothing unusual showed up but now I do have the private registration it was on so I will do more searching, OP have you run the vcheck yet?

Just to confirm, you’ve done an actual vcheck? I suppose it is good news it’s passed that, but at this point you almost want to find your smoking gun don’t you.S100HP said:

What was the previous reg? We might be able to help find info.“It is in my opinion that the reported damage present to this prestige vehicle is unusual for the age and recorded mileage.“
I might be worth contacting this member as he works in the high end car rental industry and knows a lot about dodgy rental companies. There’s a chance that he’ll know about the business that the previous owner is a director of.

I can understand your reluctance to give VIN and other details out but it’s my belief it will help. There are some very clever people on here who will find Information on it. If your car is “clocked” it could result in some Police involvement when RR try to get their losses back. Your contract is with RR not the previous owner so eventually that will mean you will be able to get your money back and maybe some goodwill. Thank your lucky stars you don’t have to deal with the previous owner because that would likely mean a big dent in your pocket.
Again keep positive this will be resolved. RR see the value in PH which is why they always have new releases on here.

If you do a ''rent Rolls Royce Wraith'' google search and change the date to in the past before you bought it, should bring up past cars that were rented and the companies. See if your one is on there.
Also try waybackmachine - that’s a great website which lets you view websites as they used to be.https://archive.org/web/
I caught out a tit trying to sell a TVR using the same photos he used three years previously with that. I arrived to buy it and wondered why it didn’t look as sharp in person as it did in the pictures. Easy answer - it had been sold to someone else for three years and come back into his stock and he couldn’t be arsed to rephotograph it.

This ^^ unfortunately. PH will take this very useful thread down soon as it's easier to do that than stand by their members who've been wronged.Just wanted to get in and wish you the very best of luck getting this resolved, OP, and it's great to see the help being offered up in this thread.

Didn’t the OP in that thread need to get it closed down as part of the “deal” with the warranty company rather than PH being approached by the company in question. Have you contacted the RR dealer local to the previous keeper?
There's a good chance it went in there for a warranty repair at one point.
Might be worth them checking the recorded mileages if they saw it.
Their the ones selling it!!!! After they sold it it wasn’t seen for 2 years including missing its service, but did have new tyres at some point....... so didn’t look after car didn’t have the free service but did put tyres on when they may not have been needed.......There's a good chance it went in there for a warranty repair at one point.

I really hope you get this sorted OP, sounds like an absolute nightmare that you shouldn't have to endure.
I use Darren Wood BMW specialist in Manchester who has access to all of BMW's systems. Maybe you could find a specialist local to you who can hook the car up.
If you do decide to post the reg, I'll happily do some research for you. I've done a lot of online investigating - become the go to guy in my company for it too!

Surely OP, any salesman taking this car in at the dealers would spot the same wear and mileage issues you have, and come to the same conclusion as everyone else.
Why did they still do a deal, and what else did they discover after taking it in?
No wonder they have gone silent!
Good luck.

Not Surrey but these people are in Hook and on the PH list of BMW specialists, maybe worth a call or looking for others near you.
