Hi everyone, my Cupra Leon is going to need a service next month and it’s around £250 via Cupra dealer but I was wondering if it has to be through them. I seen a local dealer which uses genuine parts for £150
Whist it wont help you for anyone else about to get a Cupra a 3 years service plan can be had for £99, as long as the car is 0-90 days old. It's hard to set up, but with a bit of perseverance is doable.https://www.swanswaygarages.com/servicing-parts/cu...
There are options for older cars but I don't know how they compare to best available service prices, so they may not be worth it.

Peugeot 308 GT,
£299 deposit and £299 initial payment 48 months @ 6000 and 10p per mile excess.
That’s PCP, 0% interest over 4 years, good deal. Peugeot 308 GT,

They look great in green.
How is everyone finding insurance on higher performance EVs? I'm currently weighing up Tusker Salary Sacrifice schemes vs personal lease with my current, personal lease 128ti coming to an end and it seems as if regardless of how I proceed, an EV is the way towards deals at present but I don't really fancy compromising on performance as such (appreciate the overwhelming majority will say that ICE > EV for feel).
Separately, if anyone's wondering, Tusker have advised they have update stock daily on their portal, which is what I'm going to be keeping an eye on as there really doesn't seem to be much out there by way of hot hatches/similar that I've been lucky enough to get good deals on since the original Golf R way back in 2014.

My experience is that it varies as you might guess as it depends on circumstances.
For me, there was a direct correlation between price of car and price of insurance.
No surprise here.
Best thing to do is to look for a quote on a price comparison site.
As for tusker, do shop around. I am with them and other than the EQB 350, I haven't found anything worth shopping there.
Bear in mind as well that the monthly price increase every year about a few %.

Agreed, with the exception of the Brabus Smart #1 that I've seen appear but I've nothing to compare against other than inflated personal lease deals. But even then, taking into account the £250 a month I've got the 128ti for, doesn't really make sense unless I say insurance is £100 a month and then add man maths.
Did you get your EQB via the portal and checking regularly? Or are you saying the current deal is worth exploring further?
I didn't get the EQB in the end and currently awaiting confirmation on a Citron EC4X from Stellantis direct.
The price went up slightly from 517 to 534 but when you include GAP insurance, you'd be looking at closer to 600 towards the end of the lease (price goes up every year) which is a bit too expensive for me, right now.
I hope I answered your question.

I've inquired about another year on the Kodiaq and they want to increase the monthly from £298 to £355 and maintenance from £24.80 to £66.40!!
Yeah, that's not happening.
I had a quote to extend my kodiaq 12mo 8k and monthly went from £295 to £275. Who is your funder? Mines with ALD. Was half tempted but then man maths kicked in and I convinced myself a new lease was a better idea.Yeah, that's not happening.

Pro-rata on a 2yr and upping to 10k probably gets around 17% on RRP (unless my maths are bad) :-)

Lexus RZ takumi, complete change from the M135 I’m currently in but a lot car for money in a market where there aren’t many options! .
9 down, 2 years, 8k miles, £371 a month.
I’ve read the range can be shocking but with a 12 mile round trip to work it’s not the end of the world.
Currently Struggling to not think of Alan Partridge
