Looks reasonable to me.https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2...
Opinions on this one? I’ve been told that 88k mileage for a petrol is quite high, I know it all depends on how the car has been maintained by previous owners and I know that diesels tend to have a longer life, but should I be staying away from petrol engines at this mileage?

I think it's a lot of car for the money. My girlfriend will want her first car in new year something like that would be perfect.Opinions on this one? The car has little info in the Ad. Opinions on this one? Stop with your mileage fascination. I've recently bought a 130k civic Type R. Not exactly a car driven by discerning gentleman, and it's totally fine, without any issues whatsoever.
Buy a car on condition, not mileage. A car driven on the motorway most of it's life will be a lot less stressed and worn out than a car that's spent it's whole life in city doing stop/start traffic.

Viewed this today and I think I’m going to go for it and buy it. It drove well, bodywork looks good and nothing really major sticks out as a concern other than its had 4 owners and the rear discs have been painted red. I know i can just change the discs but for some reason I’m getting a bad vibe as to why they’ve even been painted in the first place. Thoughts? Anything else I should be wary of?

Clean MOT, looks in nice shape, I'd go for it. It was nearly £7k in 2017. Here's an old advert:Viewed this today and I think I’m going to go for it and buy it.
