I've just ordered a gti 230 5 door DSG.. though I'm not sure why don't people on hereare saying it's stock cars only ie no options? I've selected the dynaudio excite pack because my sister has a 4 month old pre facelift and the standard sound system is a bit naff. Unless I've misunderstood?

some cars are week 21 build so are spec changeable at the moment.

Hi,

I'm almost certain that it will be 7-speed and it's just a mistake on the website's configurator. Oddly the GTD shows both 6-speed and 7-speed DSG options for the same price, so again I think just another mistake. All new Golf DSGs are 7-speed AFAIK.

Downloaded the Brochure and that also says GTI is 6 speed DSG... strange.

This sounds pretty interesting, you looking into it?

I would hold off the VW Touareg new one is due pretty soon but on the flipside leases should be good.

Just back from a test drive of a Golf GTi. Had a good time with that although didn't get a chance on the motorway as it was rush hour.

Local dealer is giving

£280 per month inc VAT
only option is the blue paint which added an extra £9 per month. I may go for the white instead

The big advantage of this is that it's a factory order and will take 15 weeks. By which time my current VW Golf lease will have been all paid up

Wife was hoping for a C220d but the GTi is a bit too good for me to give up!

I have emailed them, may call tomorrow. Test driving the XC90 tomorrow.

I don't mind the current Touareg even though it is a bit old, if they go to a good price I will go for one.

Think this got lost at the back end of vol 3. Was wondering people thought on thsi deal from G2L.

I've since decided I'd prefer a 3x17 and they have come back with

I get bored easy so even 18 months is a long time, costs a bit more but will save me getting is serviced at £350.

Anything else I should be considering?

It was on an email sent today, only 5000 miles but the dealer quote posted earlier on whatcar is a bit cheaper.

I got that deal through Clive brook in Huddersfield but I think I'd initially seen it on cvl about six weeks ago and then the day after it changed to £3000 +vat initial payment. He got back to me with the deal I posted so I ordered it. It's since changed to a my18 model which now include front park sensors so that was a bonus too. Excess mileage charge is high at 21p but it works for me. Hope this helps
